HOW TO PLAY:
CLICK - advance text / select choice / select items in harvest
KNOWN BUGS NOT FIXED FOR THE JAM:
- The web build often doesn't play some SFX. Dunno why.
- Uhhhh, there might be some sprite placements that aren't right. Sorry! We ran out of time to QA last minute changes.
- The point and click can be a bit buggy with what goes off where. It's mostly because I drew the art assets like an idiot <3
- I also left in the wrong instructions in game. Whoopsie!
TEAM:

!> IT WAS SO CUTE IN THE BEGINNING TOO, BUT THIS IS SO COOL. The visuals and the writing are so well done!! Only complaint is that it lags a bit in the web version, but that's probably the fault of the engine.
I love the art style, so smooth! Music is also great! Sometimes the SFX are too loud tho.
I love that the game is so complete too!
I really liked the personalities of some of the guys though. I felt bad harvesting them :smiling_imp:
jesus this game is brilliant.
Can't believe you've made an entire, polished visual novel for Ludum Dare with multiple endings. This is so impressive - everything from character visuals, their story and different expressions, to the backgrounds, music and mini-game. A neat take on the theme too!
Also how dare those grandparentS trash Jun :D HE IS PERFECTTTT.
Disappointed there's no flavortext ending for harvesting all 3 boys. I was trying to get Mr. Collector's affections since that's the vibes the main character was putting down :'(
Also I kept having a weird error that kept filling up the entire screen on the web build every time I clicked a dialogue option lol, then I accidentally highlighted the text of the error and it was even harder to ignore :sob:

luckily it disappeared/reset every time the NPCs spoke or i waited a few moments but boy when the main character has like 3 or so dialogue choices in a row and i'm a quick reader, it built up a lot lol!
That was a very pleasant experience. Conversations are very well written, music is great (especially when you go into harvesting mode), all the characters look cute and original (especially the Boss, I wish there was a dating segment with him). And I haven't seen dating sim where you play as an organ harvester, props for that
Then: OH.
reminds me of some of my first dates
Gideon's eyebrows are majestic
love your writing as always
Personally I liked the sinister track quite a bit and the edgy dude in the alleyway. The convos with him were entertaining and a bit funny.
Too bad it was so short, cause it left me wanting it to be longer.
But then one got a lot of options to play with to get some different outcomes which adds to play time.
Only so much one can do during a weekend and considering that it was on the longer side.
Great work, and looking forward to seeing what is to come of future entries C:
Loved the art, the concept and the twist of harvesting your date (or well, twist-ish as its implied a bit with the theme 😂)
My main issue right now is that a lot of the time there is only a single dialogue option, and I think you cant 'lose' your harvest. Maybe you could have the player select the correct options and if they get x amount correct they can choose to harvest/date?
Great job!
The organ harvesting part was confusing, though, I couldn't manage harvesting anything. I couldn't find the correct tools to harvest.
