Maylee's cooking a sweet secret dinner for her parents anniversary!

But all her food got stolen!

Help forage ingredients and harvest crops so she can make her dinner in time!

KNOWN BUGS -- After winning, the timer doesnt stop, so you may see "Game Over" shortly after you win. But oh well, you know you won and thats all that matters ;)

-- Your collision hitbox can glitch you out of the map if you are moving up and left/right at the same time. Sorry, couldn't squish that bug before launch.

You can press R while playing to restart the game.

If you get stuck trying to do any plant or harvest action, you can press ESC to back out

I don't know why, but sometimes I get stuck trying to plant, the buttons don't do anything, and I have to quit the game. But the game was fun until that point, I would love to play more.

I absolutely love the visuals of the game!
Main character animations are simply adorable.Gameplay is simple and fun, I love the idea of combining buttons you have to press to get the ingredients.

Sometimes it’s not easy to see what exactly you have to press, the buttons are not clearly visible when they overlap on some environment objects. Also when you have to press space multiple times it doesn’t work quite smooth sometimes.

This game is so great! The music is very nice and the art is amazing! I loved the intro cut scene!

This is a great game idea and story for the theme. I got very good at knowing which combos each plant required and had fun.

I had trouble pressing 2 arrow keys and the space bar at once for the planting combos. I think my USB keyboard wasn't processing all the simultaneous button presses. I got around it by using my in built laptop keyboard and that worked.

I like the mechanism of different collection methods in this game, but I feel that the theme you show focuses on planting and harvest is only for its service.

I enjoyed the stylized graphics a lot. The gameplay was decently fun but the button mashing wasn't all that interesting. Maybe having a way to cause crops to grow large faster so you're not just waiting for them? Good game!

One of the nicest looking games I've played so far! The music is also great and pretty interesting, as well as being fitting for the game's theme. Gameplay-wise there isn't much to it but the different button combos aren't a bad mechanic. Still though, a very nice game!

Beautifully looking game with some layering issues. I didn't notice the fourth field and won literally last second.

Neat Idea. Won in about 4min.
The button mashing is a bit much maybe. I wish there were maybe other mechanics like some games do with fishing mini games.
I think some logic to make sure I'm not hitting other buttons would help. Meaning i can hit all 4 of the arrow keys and be right.

Loved the digital art is this game. This wasn't the sort of thing I felt like playing again, but the music, animations, and overall aesthetics are great. Nice submission!

Sweet little game. the colour palette and music matched the mood well. I didn't mind the controls, and I feel like it would fit very well as a minigame or system in a larger game.

Everything about this game is sweet! The plot, the art, the music. Its a really neat game and i kind of liked these mini games and wish they existed in stardew valley in some form :)). Only thing i would say is to change the how to play text and background to the same pallet and you have a wonderful game! :))

Cute graphics! The game was engaging enough to make me play though the entire thing, though I think I got softlocked by leaving the top of the map before the timer ran out.

Really great game. The hand drawn visuals are awesome. Love the intro story and the music. The gameplay is ok, took me a while to get the groove, but it works well and is not too hard. Would have loved some sound, but all in all I very much enjoyed it! Good job!

I managed to play a bit, but not having arrow keys on my keyboard (yes, that's a thing) really hampered the experience :sweat_smile: The music and graphics were super nice though :smile:

Nice little game, beautiful music and nice art style. The gameplay was fun, having to pay attention to what you need to harvest in order to plant but as others mentioned, some key combinations when planting didn't work at all and got you stuck. I liked some of the more dynamic buttons, like how the crystals changed direction each time.
