Daikon by htw6174

[raw]
made by htw6174 for Ludum Dare 52 (JAM)

Fill up your basket with delicious daikon! Click on the base of a plant to start pulling. Move the mouse left and right to loosen it, then move up to pull it out. Press 'o' for mouse options. Turn the sensitivity up if you are using a track pad, and enable mouse lock if you have trouble pulling.

Edit: The embedded player on this page cuts off part of the screen. I recommend playing in fullscreen here, or playing on itch.io

At first, I was "Ok, I'll just be pulling daikons from the ground...". But then... Then... The ending is Huge !

Well done! The music is relaxing (well, during the first part at least ! Haha !), it is fun to pull out stuff with your mouse. :)

If this was like a mini game part of a farm tycoon, I would love it! The mechanic was simple, but it gave me the feeling of actually harvesting crops. Considering it was made in 48 hours, it's a great mini game to play.
If you could evolve this into a tycoon, I think it will be a good game.

I like the unusual approach of making a chill game :)

Only problem is that your box is partially off-screen. I wanna see my harvest!

Bonus points for the Essen (Germany) reference.

And as people said, there's an ending :)
