There's a fortune to be made in these waters!

Out on the high seas, it's been some time since you've harvested your lobster traps. There's a bounty of crustaceans waiting for you below the depths, just watch out for those pesky fish. Legend has it, a lobster of extraordinary size roams the sea floor...

A good seaman knows their enemy. The well-known Green Gobbler has been vexing lobster fishers for generations. Watch out for the Crimson Cod, a massive fish with a major bite. Finally, the Blue-Bellied Biter is quick witted and is sure to be a formidable enemy.

The Making Of
The Hunt for the Legendary Lobster is a creative effort between a group of friends tackling their second Ludum Dare. The game is developed in PlayCanvas and involves a number of custom shaders and solutions such as enemy tracking. The vertex and fragment shaders for water were developed using perlin noise. The game also features a custom leaderboard, so get in there and post your score! All assets from code to art are completely original and developed over the course of the weekend. Music and sounds are not original.

A tad hard for me and with the increased difficulty it became a great "challenge accepted".
Couldnt get more than 11 points xD
The only suggestion would probably be the decrease the sizes on the fishes and maybe have some static obstacles which would in turn increase the difficulty more controlled. :)
I really loved the music you chose as well. The only problem I had with it was that the music was just getting to the good part when I died, after which the track started all over again. If it continued playing I would have been completely happy :D
Very nicely done! I loved it :)
I usually run out of time to do this in my games but I appreciate any jam game that puts in the extra polish work with bonus things like a leaderboard or a tutorial. I also appreciate that your game just goes "Hey, press this!" "and then this!" and now you're good to go, instead of an input picture or a wall of text or list of controls.
Only the concept looks a little bit basic but this is really fun so I played it at least 10 times.
Add a keyboard button to restart the game so that we dont have to move our hand to the mouse and we can instantly get back into action. And when you restart the game keep the music going on instead of resetting it. Its a beautiful track that most people wont get to listen to because we lack skill!
Thats all i can think of and now for the other part... I love this game absolutely! I love the sea and fishing in real life, so this game is really lovely. The graphics are great, the gameplay very addictive to play as long as you make it with less breaks between deaths. And the music wow damn... Im writing this comment and keeping the game in the background just to be able to listen to it more! This is the 4th game out of many this jam that i will bookmark and return to play more these days! And also share with a few of my friends showing them how even with such little time, people can create something so wonderful! This game made my day really so, thank you.
