I especially liked the music and graphics. I tend to get a bit stuck with the weight, so maybe a small improvement in the intuitiveness of the UI? It might also be that I simply just suck of course... XD

Nice game and fun interpretation of the topic, I like the pixelated art and the backgrounds. One thing I'm missing is a restart button in the game :)

My best score so far:

I really liked the graphics of the game and the overall presentation but it felt like it was missing an in-game tutorial or some hints about what to do. I think it could be possible to completely miss the upgrades etc.. Also a visual/audio indicator of low power would have been nice.

I agree with Knatt. nice music, and the art is super cute. My first play through i kept trying to suck u pthe small buildings as well as the people. On my second play through, i found that once i crashed i could still suck people up :).

Overall neat game, good work.

So yeah, tried it now.

It is like more ambitious/ less cynical cash grab Super Duper Flying Genocide. I feel like there is some attempt at making that formula real game. Post jam could be fun little time waster. Now it's bit too bare bones for me go back to it.

Sounds and looks pretty nice, controls feel good too.

Great game and artwork. Can see myself spending hours playing a polished mobile port of this. Music reminds me of this cool game called 'Party Hard'.

Great artwork and style! Great use of theme. The building harvesting is hilarious. I played 5 days (then had a black screen) but did not get any upgrade points, even though I collected hundreds of people so unfortunately was not able to try that part.

Took me long enough to realise I need to go back to the mothership to get points. Just my bad for not reading the instructions :/

I tried playing to unlock everything but it is too grindy for my liking. I like the game but might want to reduce the amount needed to unlock everything to allow everyone to "finish" the game :)

Ran into a couple of small issues, but had fun abducting all the people.

Great idea, well made. I think the background would benefit from some parallax scrolling.

I had some fun playing multiple run on this game. It really is a litteral harvesting game ahah. It definitly deserves to be expand to a full game with more content and interactions! I'd love to see that!

Tho to be honest the amountr of times I crashed should've made the humans make their own spaceships XDDDD (POV: You suck at the game)

Hi ! fun game, remide me of old flash games I loved !
Graphics are cool, especially the buy menu !
In my opinion the endgame is a bit redundant it takes several days to buy an upgrade that won't change much

You got a good arcade game, with nice pixel art and a weird sounds (why do tanks shoot with the sound of a bell?). I missed the increase in difficulty over time - my UFO was getting upgrades, and the enemies weren't getting more dangerous. There were no new gameplay situations, either.
But all I enjoyed stealing people for 11 days : )

Great fun, and very addictive; was playing for about 25 days before I had to stop (too many diminishing returns with the levelling system - but that's the case for most levelling systems anyway).
Brilliant pixel-art and music, and the physics/controls are spot on.

Not sure how this could be extended though; potentially some Choplifter style missions?

I guess reading the instructions would have been good to know you had to fly up to save your harvest... ^^ A quick message once you start getting full would have helped a bit to solve that for the lazy players that don't read instructions, like me xD
But nice otherwise! A big grindy, some variety in levels would be great. Nice pixel art style, cute little game!
Congratulations :)

I like your game. It is intuitive and easy to play. The upgrade system works very nice.
Some feedback:

- I like how the music is diffrent in the upgrade menu. It sets the mood very nicely in contrast to the music while harvesting.
- This game could have been even better with a wraparound system in the world. So, there would not be an invisable wall, but rather you'll endup where you were before after a while.
- I love how the tanks make a little noice before shooting. It makes the gameplay better.
_ First I did not know what to do to return the humans, ben then I thought "what would the aliens do? Ofcourse! Go up!", very cool mechanic
- I think the graphics look great. However, the menu while upgrading looks a bit out of place compared to the actual gameplay. As if someone diffrent designed it. While writing the review I see that there is a big team behind this game, so I think my suspisions are right? ^^
- I love how the buildings have a draining visual to indicate how many humans are left.
- This game could use some sort of highscoring system. I know that is a lot to ask for a 72h game, but it makes competition between players much greater

The game is well-rounded, doesn't feel like there is too many wires sticking out, congrats on that. Controls are smooth, the graphics is great, the ship and it's sort-of 3d feel in particular. The only problem is there is no challenge in the middle (spawning) area so each round starts with just waiting to farm those two buildings. Nice job fellows.

Looks absolutely awesome and is lots of fun to play. Only thing I would add is an indication of how much weight you can take on.

Music and graphics fit very well together, it's easy to play yet addictive enough. Just harvesting from building seems a bit OP. And how could you fit that many people to that little cabin? :D Thanks for very good entry!

Very nicely made game, good job! It looks good and and polished and is fun to play. It is easier to list negative things: it gets repetitive very fast (I wish there'd be more than one level), music also gets a bit annoying on multiple restarts (but song itself is good).

I could really see it as a finished mobile game!

Enjoyable game!

The game itself is very gorgeous, great job to the artists! The upgrade system is cool and I felt like the upgrades were interesting enough to make it worth adding. Smooth and responsive controls and I did love the contrast between the gameplay music and the shop music. Great music, too- albeit I did feel like the gameplay music got a tad bit repetitive after a while.

I didn't keep playing so just out of curiousity, is there any ending to the game I should go back for? :D

Nice game! The performance on my laptop wasn't optimal, so it made the sound choppy and the game slightly laggy. That said, the graphics is really cool, and really good that build managed to build the upgrade screen. I didn't get what the beam upgrade was.

This is probably so far my favorite game this jam. I'm a sucker for a good pixel art game, and this game is simply beautiful. And gameplay wise it's super fun to, though around day 20 it got really grindy to the point where collecting 350 (my record) gave me like 35% progress to the next level, and I still had like 4 upgrades left and just couldn't do it cause it felt like I would have to double the amount of playtime to finish my UFO. Regardless of that controls are super tight and responsive ( I played web build and had zero issues what so ever). The only thing in my mind that game was lacking was the enemy variation. Something like some kind of air force getting involved as time progresses would be nice and could spice up the game. Some jets hunting you from the sky would definitely help, as just flying higher up was the safest solution and tanks stopped being a threat. Also not sure how much would it screw with your game, but maybe starting in different spot on the map each time would help with repetitiveness that you struggle after 20 days. Still loved the game and could only wish there was more. Fantastic work guys!

@bigwhiteshogun thanks for these beautiful words. On the jam we have a lot of ideas and stuff that have no time to add. For example sumo-enemy that waiting you on top of the building and when you are near with him, he trying to jump on you.![image.png](///raw/a86/91/z/5637b.png)
Or rocket launcher at point in the sky, where u have to avoid it after few seconds.![image.png](///raw/a86/91/z/56378.png)
We have plans with team to fix all bugs, add stuff and polish more game for post-ludum version.
Sostay tuned for updates!

Very nice game, I loved playing through it ()! I wasn't patient enough to actually finish it, but I got knee deep into the game and how it worked, and I really have no complaints! Really well done, I can see this being turned into a great game post-jam! (I personally would've made the game shorter, but that's probably just because I have the attention span of a cat :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:)

This reminds me of a times when I played [Grabatron](https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=grabatron) on iOS a long time ago. Good stuff!

Very nice that you made upgrades, but it wasn't clear for me that I needed to fly away to obtain all the abducted humans.

![Fugn2YX5Nk6pElx.png](///raw/4fb/c4/z/56509.png)

Btw there's a misspelling in the Game Over screen: "Loose" instead of "Lose". Or alternatively "You lost"

Fun little game that held my attention for 15 minutes - I got most of the way through the upgrades. The buildings are maybe a little overpowered? My strategy was to always simply harvest four buildings then fly up, so I wasn't really interacting with the people on the ground.

There are different types of people (and cows) and the game seems to count them separately, but it's not obvious to me if they have any gameplay differences. Are they worth different numbers of points?

The art is pretty. I love the little squishy feeling human animations, and those backdrop mountains are beautiful. The menu also looks very nice, although the visual style of the menu feels strangely different from the style of the gameplay.

It was a fun experience, harvesting those humans. The challenge wasn't really hard, but it was relaxing to just wondering around and collecting earthlings. Don't have much more to say, but the game is a success imho. Good job!

This game is addictive fun, has great visuals, and feels very polished. Congratulations!
I think the UI in the upgrade screen might use some explanatory tooltips: The upgrade steps sometimes didn't feel noticeably different so it was not entirely clear what each of the buffs would do.
In the end-level screen (when you extracted or have been shot down), you can still hear ingame sounds if you press the space bar. But these minor issues aside: Great game reminiscent of the golden classics  !

Really enjoyed this one! The graphics and sound effects / music were great! I think it would have been interesting if the level was persistent to force you to move around more. I found that I could just suck up the same building, leave, come back and do it again without any risk of getting shot down. Great execution though! Nice job!

Loved the art and graphics. Although a bit repetitive and long to upgrade everything. Nonetheless, good job to the whole team.
