Soul Harvest Festival is about to take a turn for the worse with Tony Crow at the market, ready to reap the spoils! He will rattle some bones, grind unending rails, and take many heads.

This is our love letter to the classic Tony Hawk Pro Skater games. What we have here is a little bit of jank, a whole lot of comedy, and our best stab at classic skateboarding gameplay. It is a touch more casual, and definitely more gory, but the nostalgia was strong during development. Here’s hoping you get some of that as well. :D

Controls are tricky for this kind of a game, so have a few options:

Best played on a gamepad: - Y: Grind - X: Trick - B: Manual - A: Jump - Left Joystick: Move

Keyboard Controls: - X: Grind - C: Trick - Z: Manual - Space: Jump - Arrow Keys: Move

Keyboard and mouse(don’t try in the Browser version!): - Left mouse: Grind - Middle mouse: Trick - Right mousse: Manual - Space: Jump - WASD: Move

Impressive overall and a great take on the theme! I played with a controller but still found the controlling a little tough. The music didn't really fit the speed and energy :( Anyways nice work!

Well worth playing! It lagged a fair bit in my browser, but when it was smooth it was really enjoyable - maybe a bit too much "snap" on the grind, but undoubtedly a blast to chain together combos. Good graphics and audio. Great level design. Well done!

Surprisingly, before the jam, I really wanted to play Spyro 3, specifically its flying and skateboarding minigames. Very surprised to see such a genre on Harvest's theme, mega cool! Great job!

i love how you gave a bit of leeway for attaching for grinds, made it a bit more fun that way.

Awesome game. It was a nice twist on the classic skateboard game formula. The kill animations are really cool. The controls seemed to suffer from latency in the WebGL version. Keep up the great work!

I loved this! Great graphics, awesome audio, good controls (although they took me a minute to get the hang of) and hilarious all around. Really impressive - I played it through four times before coming to comment here. This is one of the first games I've played from this year's jam and it's set the bar very high!!

Nice game, love the feeling of running anywhere scoring huge combos, lot of liberty to play how you prefer and go where you want :heart:

The global polish is very nice: every thing is in-place and coherent. The random voiceover lines were a nice touch! "Harvest Moon" goal got a laugh out of me

I really enjoyed playing it :grin:

Wow This is simply amazing! great game and super fun I would love to see more levels and tricks!

The voice acting was hilarious!

Controls we great and the flips after each element made it feel great!

Seriously well done!

Really cool idea, i feel like having the objectives display somewhere on the screen would be nice, so that i can keep track of what to do, loved the VA the art and the gameplay

Super cool, insane that you made this in 72 hours!! I really like the art direction. Something about the controls wasn't quite clicking with me for whatever reason but I was used to it by my second run. Figured out you can do some really spammy combos and get a wild number of points LOL. Seems like you had a great team assembled, each aspect of the game was top notch. Nice work!

While I am yet to get the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 remasters, this game will do for now. A good suggestion: Implement gamepad controls.

Hey @moonlightbomber, gamepad controls should work! Tested it with just the xbox gamepad, so maybe something is afoot with other pads, but this should generally work:

Y: Grind
X: Trick
B: Manual
A: Jump
Left Joystick: Move

I knew the moment I saw the gifs that I would love this game! And indeed, I did!
From the funny title to the core gameplay this is a gem most jammers should play. Very intuitive and you can clearly see a lot of hard work has been put into it to make sure it is a smooth and joyful experience.
And I wholeheartedly agree with the gamepad option comment, that would be sick!
Great job guys, you should be proud of this one!

Really fun game ! It's a very ambitious project for a jam, but you managed to make it work + the map is really interesting. Graphics and audio are also great. Impressive on all aspects !

I loved this so much!!! You guys did an amazing job!! The low poly graphics and textures work so well, the level design is really good -the humor was great -i liked the music too -reminded me a bit of the wii shop music -I hope you make a full game out of this -really fun!! :D

@pomo Hey there! Thanks for playing and all those kind words on stream xD. Sorry for not submitting our game. Personally i was too tired after the jam to do anything >.< . Also I wasn't happy with the end result when it comes to visuals so I just stayed quiet :>. Gratz on having Your stream on LD page!

Btw. nice score. I never managed to get all the objective in one go :D

Yes, great! That's actually a great mash up of genre. I'm not a big fan of games where you have to skate BUT I'm a big fan of games where you have to slice people into pieces :) The way I was boucing when I ran into obstacles might be a bit too much, but hey, as I said I'm not a conoisseur of this type of games so ... Great entry, bonus point for the funny comments of the reaper (even if he doesn't like board games).
