Mineral Maniac is a game where you play as a dwarf who wants to harvest all the minerals from his local cave. Unfortunately the cave is filled with monsters, traps, and ... some weird zebra named Tsevrah that sells shady potions and crystals? Anyways, try to harvest as many minerals as possible and descend as deep into the mines as you can to discover its hidden treasures.

Great game, Peeps!

I've forgot that I was going to play it for five minutes, but got lost into it quickly.

Fun game, I appreciate the dash a lot. Visuals are really nice and I kinda wish I could see this expended given more time. Felt very Binding of Isaac to me, maybe even a bit too much?

I ran into a bug a few times where I lost control of my character and he'd just keep running left... Could be my controller acting up while I am playing on Mouse and keyboard though?

Overall this is pretty good! I do have a few suggestions though. The crates feel kinda useless, as it felt, or at least for me, there was never anything in them. The rock enemies can be kind of annoying, though its mainly in the room with a bunch of rocks and the spikes. Their locations make it extremely difficult to dodge. Also there's a bug? Where the skeleton can kill you after you've killed it. I dont know if it spawned the bone after it died, or a couple of frames before it died, but I was near it, killed it, the ladder spawned, I blinked and died. This game feels so complete! It's smooth, it's responsive, there are sound effects for almost everything in game that needs it. I'm impressed at the lack of bugs and functionality of the game. I kinda wish I could see the different ranks at the end so I could know how well I did, but that's minimal. I'm a maniacal miner.

It looks cool, beautiful animations... But where is the gameplay)? I didn't see him at all). But at least it was beautiful to look at.

I love the music! The gameplay definitely gets a bit stale around floor 6 though. Also, since the fairies and hammers have a maximum level, it almost tells the player "hey, you can stop playing now."

I was really holding out for a final boss, and eventually I was skipping the crystals entirely just to speed things up.

Anyway, I recorded myself playing for maximum feedback. Here you go:

Impressive game, feels very well done and polished in all aspects of it. Only thing I could see it have more is more variety in enemies and levels. Good job!

I'm impressed by how mechanically deep this game is. The mechanics themselves might be well-trodden ground, but it all works together very cohesively. The art style is effective given the constraints of the jam as well. Nice work!

Yes! A Binding of Isaac-like! Super fun gameplay and love the addition of the mining minigame as your own twist on the genre. The art is very clean and consistent and the audio was perfect for the atmosphere. Really great work!

This was a really cool idea -I liked the different game play styles a lot! The levels were fun and challenging and it was fun upgrading at the shop between levels! Was challenging and mining the minerals was fun! The graphics were awesome -very polished and professional work -I liked the clean art style a lot! The music and sound design was really good too and worked well with the whole vibe of the game.

I was also pleasantly surprised that it was procedural when I saw how different the dungeon was playing it a second time -really awesome high quality game -awesome job! :D

The elements in the game are quite simple, but the design is very good. And i get that Isaac feeling

I'm honored if you can play my game and give some feedbacks!
