They shouldn't but sometimes they spawn again in same place :), I was surprised to see that as well. Somehow jams don't leave you with enough time to handle such scenarios, I personally didn't restarted the game as it was happening too soon. The first time, I played to a score of 102, but I didn't realize it kept going after I lost my lives. I think it would really help if there was some indication visually of how long you have before you lose a life, or when you do - I had no idea even after playing a few times how long it took. Graphics look good, and it's an interesting concept.
