Strange Orchardist by BoxedMeatRevolution

Harvest the ripely fruits from your orchard on a strange planet. Leap from grassy hill to ceiling, and skate the frozen surfaces.
But beware! Time is short. These fruits will spoil if you dally. And spoilt fruit means death, of course.

Nice work, very polished and fun.
Still this game was really fun to play and the movement was very well done in the short span of 3 days! Good job
The map was quite challenging, but there was always a way to solve nice. The maps a very balanced. If you add like a title scene and ending scenes, I think it'll be a great indie game. Nice job!
So my first thought was that is was really tight. I managed all the levels but only barely. Like milliseconds left, and I failed multiple of them multiple times before figuring the right routine out.
Then after I closed the game down, I saw there was an mid-air-dash, and I think that might have been handy. xD
Anyways, great game. Far more action packed than the music insinuate. Really snappy. Looks good. Addictive game play, and fun levels. I felt challenged throughout the game, and satisfied when I completed the level with 0.3 second left.
Really solid entry!
It's great to see ice implemented in a fun way! Most games just make it a nuisance.
In a way I got reminded of bouldering, as you first observe the level and plan your route, but then start executing it, and something happened not in a way you expected (too steep ledge / can't reach -> misclicked direction, timed wrongly). And then you have to start again.
One negative thing that stayed in my mind, was that some fruit color combination is rather hard to distinguish from the environment and the background. I would prefer to try to reach the fruit rather than spend time searching where I had missed it.
It's also interesting to see you switch engines over various Ludum Dare entries. Do you choose engine specifically for the idea? or just want to come back to it/experiment? Just curious.
The movement took me a little while getting used to but once I did it felt natural and quickly executing a pre planned route became very satisfying. The whole thing kind of reminds me of the way n++ feels. The levels looping is a neat, economic solution to the time limitations of a jam in the context of content.
I liked the challenges that got gradually more difficult, it got very hard after a while. I played to third level of the second round and couldn't do it anymore.
Nice simple graphics and good song :)
Great, highly polished submission.<3
What a haunting song, so light, so mysterious :space_invader:
