There is not much into the gameplay, but the game looks really good and the music is also pretty good. Overall a fine little jam game.

The controls seems to have been designed on a french keyboard ?
It's really hard to grasp when playing on a QWERTY keyboard ...

@ace17 Fixed! Thank you for pointing out the bug!

I really enjoyed the game! The music is chill and the platforming gameplay felt more like a puzzle of figuring otu which block to jump on next. One improvement is that the squares's collider feels more like a ball than a box. Sometimes my square fall through other squares.

for as short as it was i can respect you making your own engine and stuff. i like games like this that let you discover what to do in the game.

This was an interesting concept. I liked the "ribbit" sound effect, and just the right amount of challenge in the jump puzzles.

This game is something else, while being quite short and simple it has some depth in the simplicity, loved the sounds and the feel of the environment with the different elements. Maybe with more time this can evolve into a great full game!

Very nifty game. My jump didn't always work, so getting through the jump puzzle was a little bit annoying, but I loved the theme and the idea of the colour fading as you collected the resources. Definitely some cool ideas in there.

The music is amazing and really fits the desolate theme of the game, as it plays while you watch the entire world become blank. Very cool game!

I'll give kudos for doing this in your own engine. I guess you could call this a "parkour" game. In games with this climbing mechanic, the player usually has to deal with inertia. This was breaking my brain until i got used to the precision of the controls. I liked the little touch of the colored areas becoming white after i'd collected their resource - i smell a bit of a tech demo in the process :)
Nice!

EDIT: A heads up, the game page title says LD48 which had me thinking i was reviewing an old game

Little minimalistic game with ok control. I have situation when click jump my hero no do this and fall. I miss some music and jump sounds. Maybe it will better with some onboard screen with some history what we doing, why we doing this? Kudos for you for your own game engine. How long you working on this engine? Overall good job :)

@makuck95 yes, unfortunately I started the event 12 hours after the beginning, so I had only the 2 last hours to work on sounds.

I started 6 years ago working on my first game engine (2D pixel art) and I created this new one last year just after LD50.

It was a simple game, I don't know if it was just me but the jump didn't register about 60% of the time and it was kinda frustrating but the simplicity of the game was kinda nice

@mistafixxa069 OK thanks for your feedback ( @tomrijnbeek and @makuck95 also spot the issue), I just fixed a bug on the jump, it should be better!

Left wanting more so that is a good thing. Keeping it short is always a kind move for play and rate. I found the movement a bit jerky but nothing too bad and soon got into the swing of things. I really liked the colour drain on collection. Nice touch. Solid neat entry

There's not much to this game in terms of content but the unique aesthetics count for a lot.

Nice little platformer game, but I feel like it lack a bit of content, I guess it because you didn't use any game engine, but not every one will consider that.
And no mouse sensitivity setting :(
But still a huge effort was made to polish the game!

I think this is a nice start to build a bigger game from. I think it is super impressive that you made your own engine, in 3D nontheless, and everything works very well. You probably know all this, but a bit more feel with the jumps and landings (such as some sounds, maybe an animation or some particles), and something more exciting happening when you collect the things would already make this game a lot more fun. Anyway, really nice job! I enjoyed it :D

Definitely feels like this could be turned into a bigger game later, each level could just be trying to find the right path on an odd shaped object. It was pretty neat altogether, my favorite part is how once you took the resource it faded the other block colors to gray.
