The opening cutscene are is very cute. Gameplay concept is interesting. It seems probably impossible to craft an actually coherent letter, which I guess is the point? Interesting entry.

Great game, great art and sound. Potentially could be more compelling if earlier letters were simpler i.e. just 5 items needed to complete so there is a reward earlier on.

Very interesting! Artstyle si super cute and nice, and the gameplay is wonky in a very endearing way, with you writing a nonsense letter. Made me worry she would not like it but na, alls good, which is really cute. Incredible artistic job!

While the intro was lovely, I found the gameplay to be quite bold. However, it was also a bit heavy on the cognitive load, which made it challenging to fully enjoy. Nonetheless, I appreciate the effort and creativity put into the game and commend the team for their hard work.

Super cute. The art is adorable. I loved how they represented the theme. It definitely has potential to even be an educational game. I also loved the intro scene. I was able to complete the mission after stumbling a few times (I felt bad for my bird), but that didn't make me want to stop playing, on the contrary I wanted to finish the card and turn it in. <3

Lovely game, also had a good laugh at the letter I wrote :laughing: . One thing that was hard for me what the movement, I kept missing items and then would have to make a painfully slow turn (or circle around it like the noob I am :grin: ).
Also loved the eye for detail (e.g. the letter turning 'nicer' or 'worse' depending on the words you collect).

I loved the concept of this game, trying to find words to complete the letter! Also special mention to the animation when the bird gets hit, that was amazing lol.

I had a bit of trouble with the speed, it was much too fast for me so I always had the slow down button firmly pressed. I also didn't know how you could choose/change words at will so it ended up being kind of random and hoping for the best.

Also my bird started writing a sexy letter saying he feels girthy thinking about her, lol.

Sidenote i got stuck in the trees at the top of the map, by mistake I flew into it and then I was stuck in the middle of them and couldn't escape (I was being pushed back when trying to go back out).

Overall a really cute experience and a nice discovery for this jam!!

Great game with great music. The controls are a bit weird. It is confusing that the turning is gives the character speed, and that the back and forward is relative to the bird not the camera.

"I dream of you grasping my thorn" is a sentence I never thought I would say. Really great, original game. I had a lot of fun! The letters I was creating were really silly and funny. The controls were really easy.

Very cute! Love the mad-libs component, but the intro stills really take the cake :)

Very nice concept, also artwork and music are cute and comfy. There's room for a great post-jam version in my opinion. For instance, if I'm not missing something about the current version, you might try to define some advanced game dynamics where the player has an active role in determining the quality of the letter. Also I'd perhaps speed the bird up a little bit, increase the turning angle and add a score.

Anyway, nice work!

I can tell that a lot of work went into this, it's really great. Looks fantastic, especially the cutscenes, really nice music, genuinely funny too (Though a lot of that was due to me putting "girthy" in different places) and a fun take on sending a letter. Building it up yourself is really clever and definitely have me some interesting combinations!

Cute idea, even though it's pretty hard to actually write a good letter lol. If you just play it for the goof you can get some hilarious results ("take a dump" is so phenomenal in many ways) but trying to do it seriously gets a little difficult since you have no control over how words are placed. Wholesome game tho!

This was really delightful! I haven't bumped into a game yet during this jam that I felt really compelled to work to do really well in, but I kept flying around and around on a second try to put together a perfect note. Lovely work, GG.
