Description:

Objective secured! The reactor is yours! Now you just need to get back to base without breaking it... Fight your way through a broken world of wacky characters. Work together and try not to blow up, and find which character works best for you to finish the job!

Controls:

  • WASD/Arrows: Move
  • Z,X/J,K: Attack
  • C/L: Special Attack + Pick up/Put down reactor

Tips:

  • Your attacks are different when grounded and when in the air!
  • Only the reactor matters, you have no health of your own and the reactor only gets hurt when it slams into the cold, desolate ground.
  • Throw the reactor with X/K for big damage if you hit an enemy, but make sure to catch it when it bounces back!
  • Keep moving quickly, but make sure to watch your back for enemies sneaking up behind you.

I love the games humor, and the voice over is really good. For me the fighting system did not seem to be working that well, and I end up most seem hammering random buttons. Overall is this a very funny game, a I had fun trying it.

Pretty cool game! Reminds me of a mission from Call Of Duty where you have to carry a wounded comrade and shoot back. The music and voice acting are great!

Heaps of soul in this jam, so cool!

Having multiple characters to pick and all having their own visual and play styles is awesome.

I struggled a bit with the attack timings, it was tough for me to time my attacks in order to hit enemies or perform multiple attacks with consistent timing to kill off enemies.

Super silly and you really committed to the greenscreen character animation route, 11/10. Definitely jank as heck but the charm is there!

This is amazing, I couldn't stop laughing. I agree with others that the controls are a bit clunky, attack timing is kind of hard to work with. I like the variety with the characters and their animations are pretty funny.

Omg I was grinning from start to end for my playthrough! The characters! The poses! The art! The attitude! Love it!

Clever, silly use for a team of game devs. I approve! There were some issues with small characters (how do you even hit them??), and, as others have said, the animations felt very bulky. Tightening the animation timings up may have deprived us of watching you guys strut your stuff in all your individual and collective glory, but it would have made for a better game. Regardless, good work, team!

The art style is delicious. I couldn't finish the unfortunately because of some street sign dude. Another thing, which would've have added a lot of juice to the game, are hit feedback sounds. Controls were a bit clunky but this is part of the experience! Great job!

The visuals are interesting and...hmmm... kind of notable I guess. Music and sfx not bad at all. But the controls... Controls feel too tight (maybe even tighter than Karate Champ from the NES). I can’t feel the impact from the kicks and punches at all, it's makes game really hard to play.
Also co-op with current control map provides a truly bonding experience). Nice try, that was fun... kind of.

This game is absolutely hilarious! I've never played a game jam game like this which was awesome. It had me laughing the whole time. However I do feel that the gameplay could have used some more feedback mechanics. In addition the game felt very difficult but just because of low response times making it feel a little unfair at times. Still a great game though! Probably would've been better co op.

This game is truly unique, and despite its artistic style being very different from all the other games in the jam, I find it charming and incredibly original! I'm sure you had a lot of fun working on this game, just as I had a lot of fun playing it. The poses and clothing are so cool, the sounds are hilarious, and the narrator is excellent - he really helped with the immersion. Congratulations on creating such a fantastic work of art! Amazing game, very realistic graphics, especially the characters. I believe the concept you wanted to deliver was successfully achieved. I had a lot of fun playing it. I think the combat could be a bit more fluid, some enemies are too difficult to attack or have a faster attack, the way it currently is doesn't prevent us from advancing in the game, but I think it could work better. Overall, good job :D

lmao this is great. The tiny enemies are a menace though! My favorite is Duke Red, he's got a really good toolset. I haven't managed to beat it yet but I'll keep trying! It's really nice that you added a co-op mode btw, I'll try it out with a friend some time :)

quite difficult to control especially when I have to throw the explody thing quickly to fight the badies, but I'll be lying if I say that I didn't get a good laugh out of this, easy 5/5 innovation! I'm so impressed of all the work that had gone into setting up the green screen and working together to get all the characters with their unique ideas lol, someone is having too much fun in this jam LEAVE SOME FOR THE REST OF US NEXT TIME!!!! the voice acting adds a lot to the overall charm as well, this was very creative, nice work!

Well this game wins on humour! I found the animations took a while to.. well finish animating but I love the fact you green screened everything in yourself to make you and your friends video game characters!

Love the idea of the live-action animations, however I think more time could have been spent on refining or simplifying the fighting mechanics to feel a little less clunky.

This hit me right in the funny bone, absolutely awesome. I hate that I cant change direction mid attack but besides that it was an absolute blast! Really really impressive how quickly this was made and the sounds are awesome.

I see what you did with the reactor thing here). Cool weekend you had making this one, I think, quite a party! Very fun and immersive approach, and the game has retro vibe despite looking so modern and... "graphic", ha). Have to try playing for every character, so more mess around the reactor, here I come!
