Just a cog in the machine? by Erkberg
The year is 2048. Production is entirely automated. Well, not entirely…
One small delivery task remains a delicate affair. That’s where you come in.

How to play
- Move - WASD / Arrows / Left Stick
- Look - Mouse / Right Stick
- Interact - Space / Left mouse button / Gamepad triggers or shoulder buttons
- Music interaction - 1-2-3 / Gamepad buttons
I tried to put as many interpretations of the theme as possible in the game, can you find them all? :)

- The performance was perfect for me
- I played with a mouse
- I only found two
Anyway, great game!
Here's the theme interpretations I found:
- Deliver eggs and creatures as in moving them from A to B
- Deliver a show (music part)
- Deliver creatures as in set them free
- Deliver as in help give birth
Good job on making this cool entry, especially as a Compo game!
Great game really cool atmosphere - music and lighting really set the mood. I'm a sucker for anything neon-drenched. Loved the story. I really like exploring, and there was great variety in the game play (got to jam out a few times that was nice).
Made me feel kind of mean until I got to the end.
Pretty cool experience.
The game has a very dystopian feel to it. With a minimalistic music, dark surroundings only punched by the spots of light - a very atmospheric and quite engaging world building.
I liked the fact that you didn't hold the player's hand and left me to discover things in the world on my own. I don't particularly like the guitar-hero type of gameplay, but I managed to pass those and rage against the machine :smiley_cat:
Very nice compo. Feels like a complete, polished experience.
The spawning rows of empty cages and the overseer-sorta voice telling you not to go outside the bounds was spot on. The third music challenge felt difficult, but to my surprise i completed it anyway. Sometimes the creatures got a little stuck with their animations, when standing within the music areas.
One of the few entries that asks what's the meaning of all these deliveries and invites you to make a stand against the very theme itself - very meta -)
