Nice game. Very solid look. Sometimes train stuck and can't move without any reason. But anyway, well done!![Снимок.JPG](///raw/f6a/2/z/5bb6c.jpg)

Nice game, I think I won.. run out of tracks. The game looks good and the lighting and sparks makes it pretty.

That's a shame you have such small number of received ratings. You made a very atmospheric game. I loved the idea of strange creatures crawling here and there so you have to move faster. With such graphics and sounds it sums up into a whole thing.

Sadly there are some technical issues which makes game a bit worse: Grapple sometimes doesn't land on a tree even if it seems like they intersect. When there is no fuel a white square appears at the center of screen (i don't know was it placed there intentionally or not, but it feels a bit annoying). And also a thing with random loops which already mentioned in description.

Great atmosphere! Grappling trees is incredibly satisfying. I think that a meter to show how much fuel you have would be a good addition.

Wow, I really enjoyed the game. The fuel mechanics seem cool. The graphics and the whole style are at a high level.

Awesome game, I like hook-mechanics in games and trains, so combination is epic!
But, in my opinion, remaining 'fuel' is clever, but not clear represented.
Good job!

Awesome mechanic and score ! really liked how it made me feel, like I was in a dangerous land without any real weapons.

Great game. The grab mechanic works very well and even though I sometimes had no idea where the train goes and what I was doing at all I had fun just collecting things

This is a great one! I love the atmosphere first off. The moody chugging music fits the setting well. It's a shame this one has so few ratings. I hope you can get enough to get placed at the end of the jam! I rated everything about this one highly. I really liked that I could see my cargo and the logs going into the train. The sparks and the wobbling train were great additions. The enemies could be a little tough to counter since the speed boost didn't seem to give you enough of an edge to get away and the grapple could hit any tree on the way to hitting the enemy and get caught fueling instead of fighting, but there weren't TOO many of them anyhow.

I just wish there was some measure of progression or an ending that I could work towards, but you fit a lot of work into the jam already.

@thesmellofoxygen Thank you for your feedback, I really appreciate it! Did you manage to get to the end and beat the boss train? Note that you can hit directional-signs to switch directions and get further into the level (not sure if this was clear enough in the tutorial).

The audio in this is FANTASTIC, great music and effects. I enjoy this fun take on whatever genre this is, and I think all that needs to be done here is just more content and more progression! Great foundation here for more content.

Wow! My absolute favourite so far. It's just super polished in every aspect (except, maybe, unless it's a bug, the blurry yellow square that seemed to show up when you ran low on fuel which seemed like a weird indication haha). I *love* how the sound of the moving train is incorporated into the music. The suspenseful music combined with the gloomy atmosphere and the mystery of the hostile machines did so much to build up an amazing mood. And you even have loops! The gripping mechanic feels great and I love the range of it and how relatively forgiving it seems to be. Even when you lose it's a spectacle. The slow appearance of the title did a lot too but did get annoying on replays. Fairly standard use of the theme but executed in such an impressive way. Super cool!! 💜

My main criticism is that waiting for the title screen to finish can get a bit annoying on restarts, but other than that, this game is awesome! I love the use of the theme, and the mood is great too

@ava-skoog Thank you for the comment, really appreciate it! Could you make a screenshot of the yellow square? It does not show up on my end, so a bit difficult to fix the bug.

There are so few spooky games that I've found for this jam. The music in your game is intense and very appropriate. It looks great too and the controls are simple and quite satisfying to use too! Is the title screen also the loading screen? It seems to take a while for the text to appear. Again, amazing audio for this game and the visuals are stunning too!

This is very interesting idea and mechanic! I really liked it. Wish I could play more, but it seems there is no levels or any end point of game. But grab everything I can was very fun! And also I liked the idea of trains and roads where you can return to start.

At first I didn't figure out that station is near me, it needs more clear visuals and ui!
Nice simple game and polished idea, I see a potential for this game, really good! Great work!

Trains eat trees OM NOM NOM! This is great! Everything works fine, looks great, sounds great, I have no complaints :)

Also, you totally succeeded where I failed back in LD 47 so I tip my hat to you 🎩

Very polished and atmospheric game and the main game loop is quite fun to play. But it's not very forgiving- you're highly likely (or at least I am) to not notice the piles of rocks in time, especially since it's so dark, or not be able to escape the cannon-shaped things. I could usually get past the first two "levels" eventually but not substantially further. Would be good to have some way to restore health- a gear that you could grab, maybe?

@ava-skoog Thanks! Hard to miss XD I think it is an issue with the bloom settings not working correctly, I'll look into it.
