Lair by TheSambassador

Well... this one is somewhat far from finished, but there is a game here!

Lair is a game where you build traps and place monsters to kill invading heroes. You win by killing 3 randomly generated heroes before they get to the end, you lose if one of them reaches the end.

To play, you simply place tiles on the map. Right-click and drag to connect triggers with traps or doors. Left-click-and-drag to set the orientation of the arrow trap. Click start to... start.

Right now it doesn't check that the map is actually traversable... so don't completely block off the exit. However - The AI is pretty robust and if there is a DOOR in the way it will search for switches to open it.

The different attributes for each hero describe their main attributes like HP, as well as how distractable they are to things like Monsters and Gold.

I didn't end up having time to do graphics, sound, non-Unity-default UI elements, or... really a lot of what I wanted. I'm glad I got done what I got done, but it unfortunately didn't get as far as I want.

Hopefully you can enjoy the pure silliness of it and the AI.

I really wish there was a short tutorial at least to get my hands on. I liked what is possible though, keep working on it and post an updated link here to send it to me @ThomasHarrald

Slight problems in that there is no digging AI so a wall will stop everyone and you can delete the spawn point, but pretty fun aside from that

Interesting concept despite being quite buggy. Not a fan of traps with separately placeable triggers (i found them hard to get my head around in Evil Genious too) but that's just me.

I think adding tooltips would help the player a lot figuring out what´s going on, but you got a really solid foundation there otherwise:)
