  • Build polyominoes and deliver them to their destinations!
  • Keep up the pace, keep up the speed!
  • Reflections and rotations A-OK!
  • Can you beat my high score of 108,000?

WASD to move, mouse to rotate the "grabber." The rest of the controls are explained in-game. Supports controller, only tested with the Xbox 360 controller. This is a simple one for me; let me know if it paid off!

Really fun little puzzler! I got 7,500 - 108,000 must have taken you a while!

Good vibes to the soundtrack and having your primary sound be a _super_ satisfying "click" when I've done something right is really lovely. I love the click.

Am I hallucinating or did you allow pieces to be horizontally reflected and still accepted? Feel like at some point I had a J instead of an L and the game took it and I appreciated it in the moment :)

I got 30k Extremely fun. This is by far the best game I've played so far. I wont be shocked if it doesn't at least win a category if not the jam. The game play loop is simple and engaging. The mechanics feel really polished. The whole visual styles fits together 100% and the audio is pleasant. I legit cant think of a criticism. Maybe up the pacing at the start of the game. Well done truly talented devs you're an inspiration.

Interesting idea but lacks gameplay motivation for me. A way to speed up gameplay would be good (eg. using your mouse instead of a character or Actually being able to dash around) thus making the motivation to go further to have faster and more frantic gameplay. If expanding on this concept I think someone running around a scrapyard making "orders" or specific parts could be an interesting take on this, but that would be a different game.

Well done!

I went to your code (and than to wikipedia) too understand how the check of same shape was made, impressed by mirror robustness. Very intersting the polyomino...

Kind of relaxing game if we forget the timer. A chill/puzzle version with big polyominoes too make with less one-bloc available would be interesting.

@eieio Yep, reflections are allowed! I figured I should be a little more forgiving considering the time pressure.

@nordwolf That's fair. Maybe the arcade-style implementation of this mechanic just didn't do it for you. I agree that a scrapyard "order filling" direction would be a cool way to extend the concept.

@aune Glad you mentioned one-blocks: I’ll be uploading a version after rating that makes them much less common. That was the intention for this version, but I wasn’t able to find the right balance formulas in time!

The game was very relaxing, then I got to 16k, looked at the time and lost because of panic lol

Interesting gameplay with a good aesthetic - something clear. All works well as expected. Click click ++

Hi! I really loved the concept of this game. The music was really cool, making it a chill game for me, as I am too bad with WASD keys to move and play quickly :joy:

The aesthetic works really well too, and it's original for the theme. Congrats!

✔️ Nice clean visuals + sounds - adds to the relaxing mood.

✔️ I like the little touches, like how you slow down when you carry more blocks.

➖ Wasn't the biggest fan of the constant pick up distance - was a bit confusing at times.

⭐ Overall: Nice chill game.

Very fun game! had me playing for quite a while, think snapping distance could be a tad bigger for a smoother experience, very nice submission!

This game is great. My high score was 40,900 points. I tried it on both controller and m+kb. It works pretty well with both control schemes, but the cursor does not move very smoothly when rotating the right stick. My only issues are the movement speed feels a bit slow and that difficulty ramps up very slowly. I feel that a single run feels a bit too lengthy and that faster movement and getting to the hard stuff quicker would alleviate this.

I also ended up finding a bug. If you are standing very close to a piece that you are carrying and then rotate the piece around yourself, you end up gaining crazy amounts of speed and flying out of bounds.

Regardless, I really enjoyed this game and think that is very cool.

@rngames The constant pickup distance is for sure weird, mostly the result of coming up with a control scheme that worked for both M+KB and controller. Any ideas on how to improve?

@cronno Agreed about the movement speed and run length: I'll be putting up a new version after rating that fixes those and many other things that have been bothering me. And the collision issue you mention, yeah... I tried fixing that right in the 48th hour and ran out of time. Physics are tricky... :P

Great entry! Especially for a compo game. I had a lot of fun playing. The little speedboost after handing in a block was a nice touch

Wow, what a beautiful game, the sounds of the pieces combining and the ambiant music are really nice. Great Work !

Cool idea, and it looks really good.
The only thing that made it a bit difficult is the fact that the controls are only for QWERTY, and are not very very natural for other keyboard layouts.
Other than that, good entry.

That was awesome! Great execution and polish, I was able to get 13,500. The difficulty ramp up could have been a bit faster. A bit surprising for me was even with the timer running out it still felt like a pretty relaxed game. Great work!

Very soothing puzzle game. Also really interesting take on the theme.

I really liked the shape markers that showed what shapes were wanted. Allowed me to not worry too much about mistakes when I could see that there's an alternative shape I could build the block into :D

As already mentioned by others, I think the difficulty curve could have been a tidy bit steeper, but its a difficult balance with the relaxed nature of the game.

Overall really well done entry!

Hey! An _unsurprisingly_ fun little game. I found the controls as a little tricky, and the movement a little slow. But who has time for polish? Gorgeous art style and concept! Great work, congrats.

Great idea, I love how the Tetris mechanic can always be derivated to match any kind of gameplay.
And on top of that you made an interesting game and well polished

Great work! The idea is absolutely great and the execution shows a very polished game with an carefully designed art direction. I really love the minimalism-like aesthetic. I hope you continue on this idea for a full game!! It has a lot of potential!! 😊

What a nice abstract take on the theme. Really nice! I'm too lazy to read what others have written so I hope I don't repeat. I feel like it got a bit boring before it got too hard. Maybe introducing the colors and more complex patterns faster would have made it more exciting. Hard to say. The mouse was somehow weird from time to time. Maybe allowing some movement along the non-radial axis (or however you'd call it) as well would have made it a bit less weird? But the gameplay is really smooth though!
