- I'm a sucker for graphics like this and low poly
- Music / SFX is on point for this type of game
- Multiple levels and nice level design
- Quite nimble controls
Maybe its just me, but this one feels like it's playing with `delivery` theme more on a word-like manner, which is fine and dandy but wouldn't been my first pick definitely
Good job overall!
Plus, I've found a bug on Level3 I believe. When you constantly push a box, after a short while you will go Out of Bounds :see_no_evil:

Call me sadistic, but it was SO satisfying when I killed enemies and they made like a 'POP' sound and had a little blood spatter. Really fun, effective game :)
@kr0meel @mikoziq I was told it was a bit of a stretch but I still think it's a clever interpretation. I won't argue if people disagree though. That's an interesting glitch with the box, no idea what would be causing that off the top of my head, I'll look into it.
@yorsh That's not intended, but I can understand why it's happening: since you're technically not on the ladder anymore, the game won't let you climb down it. I think that one should be a simple fix, thanks for bringing it up.
You're the only person I know who has been making TIC-80 games for Ludum Dare, which is awesome.
I remember some of the graphics and looked at some other of your games. I remember playing your LD50 entry! I think the levers and the flying enemies made a comeback :D The levers were a mistery for me first. I thought I could swing the sword to activate them
edit: I went back to double check the ladder issue, and I found a spot on level 6 where the walls don't have collision at all! Just thought you'd like to know, lol.
@quinn-patrick Again, most of those should be fixed in the post-jam version, though I wasn't aware of a bug where you could fall through the floor. I'll need to investigate that one.
Anyway. Nice 'n crunchy, like a '9 bit' fantasy console is supposed to. For the most part it played smooth enough (liked the box-pushing), but I don't understand in what way precisely you take damage -- while it got easy enough to avoid damage eventually, when I did run into a mob, sometimes it seems I take damage, and sometimes not.
I got into the wall on level 6 and of course tried out what happens when you get out of the level (actually I maybe thought it was a secret). Nothing much, but it does seem like I now need to restart the game.
(I also liked that there are options and settings in the menu.)
PS:Now i've beaten it and the game is very good!
(edit)Oh! I just noticed you can remap the keys in the options menu! Cool!(/edit)
Also, a few QOL suggestions: I'd love to be able to jump on ladders, and I ended up cheesing the last level by killing everything from the ladders xD
Well done overall!
Really cool little platformer game. I ran into a few bugs like being able to walk through walls, and the performance degraded on the web version as the levels went on. The graphics and music are cute.

Music loop is simple yet effective, the puzzle design is good and the enemies are all very cool looking and different.
Good job!
EDIT: I played the version on itch.io and the collision were fixed, but the game still slowed down.

And I have a bit of feedback
- I liked the art and the music (although it the music did get a bit too repetitive after while, which is understandable for a jam though).
- I managed to glitch through walls and made it to one of the exists using wall jumping lol
- I didn't like the fact that you needed to cheese enemies to solve level 15 (at least that's how I managed it!)
- I think there needed to be more feedback for getting hurt
- Movement - I think a bit of slide would make it feel more fluid
- Jumping - Maybe could be a bit more... Bouncy? Not sure how to put it. It felt a bit heavy
- Combat - attacking could definitely have a bit more range and feedback to it
- I think there could be more emphasis on the theme
- Thank you for not making the spikes one hit kill!
Despite all that though, I did enjoy the game enough to bother finishing it, which is not something I could say about all the jam entries I played, so overall this is a great entry!
