Woustal by lonkost

[raw]
made by lonkost for LD33 (COMPO)
Woustal is a puzzle game where you are a man cursed with lycanthropy. Each tile you move you transform to a werewolf. Every other tile you are human. Your goal is to eat all the peasants. Watch out for guards. First Ludum Dare submission. Let me know if anything doesn't work.

Only had time to make the three working puzzles. The system I made allows me to make more though!

A bit short but the concept is quit clever :)

It would be great to see the hardest level that can be done with those game mechanics :)

An interesting setup for a parity puzzle, but without a way of changing your characters parity there's not much in the way of puzzle there. Solidly made though, the about page was a nice touch.

I like the concept and the execution, but where are the levels? Though I do like that you didn't add filler levels without any new ideas - maybe this puzzle concept just doesn't go very far on its own.

A bit short. But really nicely done. But the mechanics has potentials. And it is based on a real board game, right?

Love the puzzle idea. Would be great to see this expanded into more levels. One bug(?), it may be the computer I'm on, but the click box for the tiles seemed to be low/left of the actual tiles.

Nice graphics, and a strong start to a puzzle game. I think if there was going to be more puzzles you'd need to switch up the core mechanic a bit (maybe a tile that skips a transformation -- essentially inverting the implied checker pattern).

The mechanics are promising, I would like to play some more complex levels :)

Thanks for the feedback everyone! I was thinking of expanding on the mechanics by adding surrounding rules, getting to exits after killing the peasants or more turns as werewolf/human. I'm pretty happy having never finished a project solo before.

Great concept but I wish there was more of it! Please make more of it!

It's a lovely game idea, the levels currently are very easy to complete as there is only one obvious route through them. I'd like to see it developed further, interesting use of the theme.

I liked the concept. First I started with a small resolution and with that I had to guess where I have to click(the buttons weren't on the right place).
