Love the fact that dropped weapons are you resources and you can't just shoot everywhere, everytime and need to plan what weapon when to pick up. Comic style story telling on point.
1st, when shooting through the door, sometimes the enemy behind the door will receive the damage, but it was a little slow or late I think, and I don't know if a bullet will get through the door or not.
2nd, when I'm going to the enemy at high speed and try to slide, sometimes I got stuck with the enemy.
The game concept is very interesting. good job
But I really enjoyed my time playing
Movement and combat are great fun and the style is awesome.
I felt the shot gun could of been more powerful.
I guess marked down a little bit cos it's so similar to HLM, but it's still awesome.
I did have some difficulty moving and shooting successfully, maybe because the move speed was a tad too high (maybe I'm just bad XD)
The only thing I didnt like was the health of the enemies. Sometimes they have way too much health, sometimes they go down immediatly.
That all being said, I'm not super sure about the decision to give everyone health - it may have been done as an attempt to make the experience easier, but as someone who's played a TON of Hotline Miami, it actually made it way harder! The increased TTK meant that I couldn't play nearly as fast as I'm used to and had to un-learn a lot of habits over the course of 15 minutes. It feels like the only real way to avoid taking damage is by playing really carefully, which messes with the flow-state that I play HM for.
Granted, I'm comparing two different games - these are just my own biases leaking in. It was a really great experience over all and super well done to boot!
