i laid off my entire workforce and replaced them with drones and i lost? i think it must be a bug :(
Welp that was just down right addictive. This is not good for my health. Amazing work guys
My only suggestion is more comprehensive tutorial, and better communicate to the player they are placed on a good or bad part of the map
Congrats to all of you!
It's a bit hard to pick up the mechanics at first, I wonder if a more interactive tutorial would have helped? (though it would have undoubtedly been more work to make...)
Even though the pixel size is a bit inconsistent between assets, the pixel art still looks surprisingly clean even when the camera zooms in and out. Good job on that!
Minor suggestions from me would be: make learning curve and tutorial better for this types of game, it's always nice to show mechanics to the player step by step and let them feel the impact. Also, impact should be felt on even though out the playtime in tycoon typed games, so the goal and the ways of achieveing it is clear from the start. ALso UI could use some scaling, noticably when playing fullscreen.
Overall - very good entry!)
I really lost for some reason (because people started to be unsatisfied?) even tho there was all good economically and from delivery speed perspective. I even checked the chart and it was all growing :sob: Bought a drone and it was just staying on the base.
So the bottom line - I do love the art style, gameplay cycle & music, it's actually a really good example how such game could look like. But I didn't manage to beat it
Overall I liked the game and I would play a more fleshed out version with deeper mechanics.
Congratulations on the excellent work!
Gameplaywise it was not really that complex for games of this genre, but that is completely justifiable in the scope of a game jam. It made the game super relaxing to play which made me enjoy it a lot.
Great entry!
