Deliver Pizzas and avoid other cars in this traffic conducting puzzle game.

The game is controlled exclusively using your mouse. Drag and Drop the road signs on to the road and press the play button to make the cars move. Sit back and watch as you either make deliveries or only cold pizza.

Now with bug fixes:

  • You can no longer place signs directly under cars before the game starts.
  • Stops signs behave more consistently.
  • Signs stay on the board after restart.
    • Press Right Mouse Button to pick them up.

Road Signs:

  • U-Turn - Flips cars 180 around.
  • Stop - Stops cars on their current tile for half a second.
  • Turn - Turns the car 90 degrees in the pointed direction
    • Cars will not follow these signs if they are pointed in a parallel direction to the cars themselves.

Tools Used:

  • Game Engine: Unity
  • Art: Aseprite
  • Sound: The Ambient Noise in your immediate area :(

Fun logic puzzles! I feel like I might have bypassed the intended mechanic by just turning an enemy car before the start so they drive out the map... A great entry though, it was very easy to grasp and good fun :)

Oh this is a neat little game, I like the core game mechanic. Some feedback: I didn't realize the green boxes were showing delivery locations, I thought those were the only places I could put down the instruction tiles. Level 3 took me a while because of this. I really like the level design and progression, it's acting as a natural tutorial as well. It was a bit frustrating that retrying the level reset all my tiles, sometimes all I needed was a slight tweak to get it right.
All in all a pretty decent entry, nice work!

The gameplay is smooth and easy to grasp, yet provides enough complexity to keep you engaged. Everything is very well put together. Really nice diffuculty progression in the levels, Thanks for a nice little experience!

Pretty cool little puzzle game! Everything felt intuitive and functional. One thing that I though was missing though is a way to remove a sign or reset all signs without having to start and stop the simulation and potentially rebuilding. I also tried replacing a sign with another one but it seemed that they just stacked
Otherwise, great submission!

man what a game to start my rating week with! this game is so well designed that it took me nearly 15 minutes to complete, especially the 3 last levels, really well put together it's like you predicted how I would approach the problem and designed it so that my last idea is the correct one lol, maybe you should've used some classic music like Getting Over It did, that way I would die from the inside and outside XD, great work!

This is a great little puzzler with intuitive mechanics that really got me thinking. My biggest problem was that interactions don't seem to be completely consistent. On level 10, I'm pretty sure I had the solution, but it wouldn't work because the car behind me kept catching up in the turn and hitting me, which didn't feel intentional. Maybe there was a different solution I didn't consider, but it felt like I had it.

I really like the puzzle aspect! Sounds would've been nice too, and music. This looks like a great start to a really good game, if it's okay for me to say that!

@weirdbitgames I appreciate you saying that! I really wanted music but with my music skills it probably would have taken away from the experience haha thanks for playing!

Amazing game concept, fun gameplay. My 2 cents. It was not clear to me from the start that you had to drag and drop. After that I didn't realize that you could put signs anywhere (thought only on the squares).
Overall very nice!

Neat! Good intro puzzles to teach the mechanics. At first I thought you could only place on the green squares until that early level where the solution was specifically to not put it on a green square and that was the only thing that level taught you. That's a simple example but there was more things like that in the early levels, good job!

Some solid puzzles, very intuitive to play. I sure hope my pizza driver doesn't follow random signs like I placed XD

Great puzzle, loved the idea! Got stuck on level...7, I think? Added a screenshot of it.
Would love to have some sounds effects & simple music to set the mood. Also some more visual feedback would be great, e.g. show possible locations for a sign when you drag it. I've found the car movement to be slightly confusing, as if the blue cars move in a different way compared to the red car, mostly on intersections/turns/dead ends. If I add a stop sign to the blue car and it ends up following me one cell behind and we reach a turn, we don't collide, but in a completely analogous situation when I stop my car and I end up one cell behind the blue car, we do collide at the same spot, which feels weird and inconsistent.

I maybe found a bug? I failed the level 'cos I put the stop sign here:

But I don't appear to be able to move it to another location and try again? Looks like I'll have to F5 and restart the whole game?

@weirdbitgames You can actually pick them up with right click now! Sorry if that wasn't clear I included some text in the level before this that said it :( It's hard to say these things with out a wall of text players have to read.

Ah right you are, my bad! There I was left-clicking like a fool!

@weirdbitgames Haha, I see where you got confused. I am now feeling like I should've just made it left click. That might have made a lot more sense.

I didn't realize that you could place signs outside of the delivery zones until failing level 3 a few times XD. I found the gameplay pretty enjoyable and the level design very well executed. A few sounds and music would be a welcome addition, if you iterate upon what you've built so far. :)

A really nice and solid traffic puzzle game. The difficulty is just about right, I managed to get through all the levels. Some music and sound effects would make this even better.

Overall great game, innovative controls and pretty intuitive.
Had some issues with not being able to load the next level after completing the current one.
Add some sounds or music and that has potential to be a real classic if you ask me

Very fun puzzles to solve! It wasn't difficult nor easy, just a really good level design and difficult build up through the levels. You kept the signs every level to a minimum amount which is what I like about good puzzle games, keeping the options to a minimum and focusing on what you can do with that small set of options.
Great entry!
