Lesbians propose with sword or something.

Slap knocks back, doesn't do damage, and has a chance of stealing an enemy's sword.

Very nice character art. I enjoyed the challenge of deciding whether to risk slapping or risk damaging the sword by swinging.

Neat little fighter game, I'd love to have some sounds or music on it, even a little. Some quirky lesbian symphony in the background~ Slap to win~ Lovely work!

Cleared with an SS blade on my second attempt! Great little game. I hope lesbians proposing with fine swords after fighting a horde of enemies becomes the norm. 😍

Love the story and concept. The art is really good as well, though I wish there were a few more animations. I think even a two frame walking cycle could've gone a long way. A solid foundation for sure and still quite impressive for a 3 day project. I could definitely see this being a sick game with a bit of polish.

Managed to complete it with an A+. Alllmost got to the end without damaging the sword but that last burst of enemies left me with no choice.

@svenerik Unfortunately i'm just a tiny bit untalented with music and out of practice incorporating sound into my workflow for games. This being my first Jam in a long time without a dedicated music person on team, much less solo. I know how big of a deal it can be though, you're definitely right.

Super creative idea to be delivering a sword with health so you don't want to use it and giving you the ability to steal weapons. If you expand upon the game I would love a walk animation, music, and a progression bar to let you know how far from the finish line you are. Different enemy types would be a cool edition too. I love the pixelated art style. It's hard but fun to play. Fantastic job!

I like the idea of managing a rapidly increasing/depleting arsenal of weapons, that's a cool concept and you've implemented it well here. I also like the spritework and animation a lot! My only nitpick is I wish the screen moved a bit faster but ehh, that's a minor gripe. Good job!

@paul-avallone All things I would have loved to have included! Definitely things that WOULD be in the game without having had to go to work both sat-sun this weekend.

This is so good!! Loved the art of the swords, and the mechanic of sword stealing xD I got so many swords at once, it was so fun. Great game! :)

Gosh, that's cute. Stealing and amassing many swords was so much fun, too! (And I'm glad I did for the very end.) Made it all the way with an undamaged sword. And lesbians make any game better. I don't think I have anything to add that hasn't been said/addressed already, so I'll just say that I really enjoyed this!

Had to play twice, second time just to get the sword delivered in perfect condition  Plays very smoothly, and I liked the idea of stealing swords. Good job!

Hello fellow Godot dev! That was a pretty fun game play loop. I also really liked the sprite work! If I had one suggestion, the slap mechanic felt a bit un-intuitive. I would slap enemies pretty aggressively and sometimes they'd immediately yield their sword, and then sometimes they'd do it later when they were about to swing after having been slapped earlier.
Super impressive doing this all by yourself! Good job!

The simple controls and challenging level make this a very fun game! I really like the concept though it took me until my second try to understand the purpose of the slap (other than it being funny) and realize that I don't want to damage my own sword. I felt like the level design was perfect as well, it was hard but not so hard that I wanted to give up. Took a few tries to deliver that SS and it felt satisfying to do so. As some others have mentioned, I do wish there was some audio. Overall incredible job, especially considering you did this alone!

Really cool concept :D It took me a while to figure out why you should slap enemies but it is a really cool idea :D

Wow this one's a gem! Cool creative idea. I was going to deliver SO many swords to MY LADY that half the screen was D grade blades, but I died. The next time I was more tactical about removing boxes and made it. I think the length is nice and short and felt satisfying. I wish it had some sound, and some walk animations!

That's a really nice game! I found the idea quite unique, and I can see this being a brilliant game with some more polish. I love the fact that you straight up steal the swords. Though I'd appreciate a bit more feedback on when you're stealing it, because sometimes it takes one slap, sometimes more. But yeah, great job!
