I'm surprised how engaging semaphore can be (and how much you can actually pick up in just a few rounds!). I love the seagulls and their noises. All the visuals are very clean (except for the grime on the guide, of course). Very educational and also very cool and fun.

Didn't expect to learn something while playing jam games, so this was a nice surprise. Well done!

I like the concept, however with that many symbols I found myself constantly opening and closing the reference.

Very neat and original game. I got to say the last level made me a little dizzy but I still loved it :D Great work! Don't think I did too bad but don't know what to compare it to lol. ![Screenshot 2023-05-01 154421.png](///raw/d23/d2/z/592cf.png)

Love the idea! Can only imagine what it'd be like knowing these by heart, and breezing through the game!
After a while though, you start to remember some of the positions- that was pretty satisfying not having to consult the book! :)

It's always fun to learn some trivia from Jam games and so for that I thank you! There is certainly a steep learning curve (it is a real life job after all), but you have created a very good tutorial to assist that. Great job!

At first I was pretty confused that I would have to memorize 28 or so signals until you showed just how fun it could be to constantly switch between the clipboard and inputting signals while managing the various hazards. As the levels progressed I could feel myself getting more and more accustomed with the mechanics and the various hazards kept the whole experience engaging. Had a funny ending, too :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: Great work overall!

Kinda wish it had a downloadable version tho, as the lag was a bit excessive, but I still managed to play through the whole game fine.

Love the calming music, and clever application of the theme! The only critique I can think of is I notice you can accidently send signals while the clipboard is up but that's not likely to happen often at all.

I was not expecting to see a navy style signals game in the mix. Good job with the crazy idea and all the seagulls getting in my life. <3

Ok you can do that for a really long time. Good potential. I would maybe do a countdown instead of a countup :D

That was interesting. Very solid execution across the board with smooth graphics and animation, engaging gameplay, and nice chill music to top it off. Can't say that memorizing signs is my favorite thing to do in a game but that's just personal preference.

In any case congrats on making Seagullarity, this is very impressive for a Compo game!

Stressful, but fun once I got the hang of it. Good vibe, solid execution. I like how the big seagull says hi.
Total score: 210 (although I redid the first round a few times)
