Space Delivery by Kirbloid

Controls: Left/Right Arrows - Aim Hold Shift - Speeds up aiming Z key - Fire rocket X key - Explode rocket after launch
SpaceD delivers the most goods and cuts the most budgets. Why use crew or AI when you can just point and launch? Saves money, time, resources, and cleanup duty.
The object of the game is to launch the rocket and deliver goods by bouncing off of planets. Every planet only wants one good and if you match what they want you get a bonus. Extra bonuses are given if you combo off of planets into multiple deliveries and if you manage to deliver everything before you run out of attempts.
Features: - 7 levels! - An "Explode" button!
All art, music, and programming done by myself during the game jam. Music made with Bosca Ceoil. Only outside piece was Kenney’s font “Kenney Pixel” and “Kenney Thick”. I supported them; you should too! https://kenney.itch.io/

- The color of the package didnt seem to affect which planets i could deliver to
- The turret rotated too slowly. I understand the need for precision movements, but perhaps it could get faster over time as you held down the button
:D
But I think the concept was cool and the graphics and audio provided a unique experience. The levels were nicely paced, and it felt like things were kept fresh.
Nice stuff!
Appreciate the controller support too!!
For instance, if you were aiming to make a puzzle game maybe have obstacles in the way like moons or asteroids and make it so you could only deliver the correct gems to the correct planets. Failing to do so in the number of rockets would cause you to fail the level and have to restart.
If you wanted to make a high score game you could have had the levels be more randomized and you only get like 10 rockets for the entire playthrough to score as high as you can with maybe bonuses to get more rockets or something.
Solid entry. Also, I'm certainly partial to a space theme ;)
The controls are perfect.
Would have been nice to have some more challenges, maybe some obstacles to enforce the use of bounces on planets.
And I just wished for more levels
Anyway, it is a strong entry, well done
