Well done! Long walk to town. You did an excellent job. Never did find the guy to bring the grain to

I really like the characters. They are haunting and adorable at the same time. Do they have a name? The lore and story really added to the mood category.

Cool visuals and awesome characters! The camera was a little motion sickening, and I did end up getting rather bored walking down the long roads without much there, but the game looked and felt awesome!

I mostly just wandered around lost. I loved how big and open the world felt. I would play a game in this world.

Really enjoyed this one! The music and graphics were great and set a nice vibe. Very relaxing.

I noticed you can pick up the wheat from the first NPC a second time at the end of the game, but it's not a big deal and the ending still worked properly.

@beebster-games Thanks, I did actually make the quest text repeatable so that if you forget,
you can get the directions again. Although I am aware of how unclear it is, especially the second one after you deliver the wheat.

@a1stakesauce Thank you, I did kinda want that unusual look to the characters especially the big ones. I haven't thought of a name for them.

@xbcw Getting lost seems to be a recurring theme XD. But I'm glad that you enjoyed the world, that was certainly my main focus, and main time consumer in the jam.

@python-b5 Thanks, this has actually been one of my favorite jam yet. just crafting what I love out of the world.

And I to found this bug at the end, and I know exactly how to fix it. But at the time I had less than 2 hours left and had other priorities.

Loved the openness of the world, even though it's hard not to get lost  The characters were cute, especially their voice and the music was lovely !

Played this game today!

Firstly, I LOVE THE GRAPHICS
The little guys are so adorable! :D

The music is perfect with the grass :D
Just walking down the path is so utterly peaceful.
I really like it.

I am not however a fan of the camera controls :( that feels a bit odd.

I also got stuck in the town in the construction part and can't get out lol

I restarted and cracked on. I managed to do the cycle! Hay -> town -> king -> miner :D

nice job! Its a cracking chill game :)

Relaxing game. Liked the idea. The guys reminded me of Star Wars :D

A few tips/bugs:
- The trees had no collision
- I got stuck in the construction site, but I couldn't jump.
- Maybe place the quest on screen all the time? Than you know what to do.

@the-martijn I was waiting for the star wars comment XD and I was aware of the whole construction site thing and the trees not having collision. but having the quest on screen is actually something I could have had very easily, considering how I did the quests. I just didn't think of it in the rush to complete the game.

The game looks and sounds really great. I overall like the atmosphere. I did never get much of the story and had very little idea where I was suppose to do, were to go, and who to talk with. But anyway it still feels like and interesting little game.

@jk5000 I'm glad you liked the atmosphere. I did try make the world more grounded by making the NPCs give you directions. But in hindsight I would have done it differently.

Love the atmosphere of the game and its rly pretty. It was very annoying when the pause menu didnt save my position but not a major major issue. Also if you were to continue the game giving an intro or something in game when you start could help ground what you're doing a bit more. Other than that nice game :P

Very good work! More considering that it was a solo work xD, the design of the characters seemed very interesting and together with the atmosphere and the music, it made me feel that there is a whole fantastic world behind it. You have a very large map where many more can enter, I would like to see it more polished and full of stories jeje! Congratulations!

@alpalcalad Thanks the esc thing was more just as a return to menu not a pause. But I would really have liked an intro.

Hey @stellarnightmare

I liked your game, it was a pretty, immersive world! I liked the character design and the audio was cute!

Some feedback:

- I don't think you are normalizing your input, holding A and W moves the character faster than W would
- I got stuck in the first villages construction building and couldn't get out because there is no jumping
- When getting to the second village I walked to the quest NPC and walked past him accidently without reading the message, as I couldn't read what he said again, I had to restart
- This is a personal preference but in my opinion, I think the camera should rotate around the player not an arbitrary point above and behind the player, because having created a cute character like that it would be great to see him!

Overall great and immersive game, and the art style definitely has some potential!

@studiocherno Thank you for playing my game. I'm glad you enjoyed it. But with the issues it was mostly just because I suck at coding. And I was just trying to finish everything on my own with 12 hours of the jam missed.
