de-Livery by ThePelranthean

de-Livery is a game about spreading your faction's influence around a city. After all, we're all about removing the livery of any faction opposing us.

Move your pawn around the city to capture buildings for your cause.

The time limit really snuck up on me this time, so there are major missing components.

There's no tutorial, and the game is in no way balanced. But you can win and lose, so I guess it might be considered a game.

Warning

This game has no tutorial. Play without preparation at your own risk.

Here is a brief explanation of how the game works:

ApplicationFrameHost2023-04-3020-20-19.jpg

 1. You control a pawn. Left-click to select it.
 2. Your pawn spreads your influence. Each building has a bar showing the influence.
 3. With enough influence, the building converts ("neutral" -> "player" and flags change color). Move to captured buildings with Right-click (you can only move to converted buildings).
 4. Statistics for your influence spreading are listed on the bottom left.
 5. To win, meet the conditions on the bottom right.

There are 4 types of buildings to capture:

 1. House - increases your total influence
 2. School - increases your influence range
 3. Tavern - increases your influence generation rate
 4. Cathedral - increases your influence spreading rate

Note: Windows build uploaded 3 hours late. Had to download Visual Studio to fix a build issue.

I could select the pawn but was not able to move him in any way, i tried right-click on buildings/labels/terrain, any keys etc.
Looks quite nice though!

@fnelix Thanks for trying the game; sorry that I didn't make movement more obvious.

Movement is restricted to buildings you've captured, so unless the bar above the building is blue and says "Player" you won't be able to right click to move there.

Thanks for the feedback!

Appreciate the instructions to get started - movement feels a bit off sometimes when choosing to go into opposite side buildings. You end up having to click multiple times or visit an adjacent house to get the pathing correct.

When you get to later game it feels very satisfying watching multiple buildings go up at once!

Love the art style!

But need some instant feedback or bigger fov, the waiting time is a little boring.

Really cool idea, great graphics, loved the board games feel, and had a lot of fun taking over buildings.

Only feedback I have is I didn't really have a good idea of where my opponent was or what they were taking over, so I never really felt like there was a threat. They were so far away.
