If you want to see all the features I wanted to add but ran out of time for they're in notes.txt in the repo.

there is an error that don't let me play
Thanks and thanks for playing :)
* nice parallax and drawings, also dog mouvements
* I cannot stop the delivery guy before he deliver one newspaper, is it intended? I mean, can we stop him before the first journal?
Nice game, hooked me in until I win!
@jakobthequizguy thanks heaps - I feel like the extra animations help make the movement feel significantly more responsive and they don't take too much extra time to draw and animate. I wrote the code to allow for more levels and I created more assets but ran out of time to actually make the levels.
@lex thanks heaps and thanks for playing :)
overall very cool game.
overall very cool game.
@likirus yeah I wish I had an extra couple of hours to add more levels in and fine-tune things a bit more. Thanks for playing.
@ardorugus thanks for playing and that's a great idea - if I'd thought of it during dev. I would have chucked it in for sure.
@zefphyer thanks and thanks for playing. I chucked the bushes in last minute and didn't have time to make sure both characters can move past them smoothly I think I needed to tweak the collision response a bit. Didn't run into the dog dying bug but I'm guessing there's a race condition I missed thanks for letting me know.
I did like what I saw ... so my lack of intelligence didn't affect the score
Number of papers delivered was meant to be a fun scoring thing.
I definitely didn't explain it well - was hoping to do it through level design but ran out of time. I think putting in more cues would have been a good idea.
Thanks so much for playing really appreciate it and appreciate the feedback :)
@harmadillo thanks heaps and thanks for playing :) Yeah I spent my last couple of hours making it prettier rather than fixing the gameplay..
The artstyle looks great, I love the intro comic at the instruction screen
It is a bit difficult to judge how far you have to be to bite, but it does get easier with practice. Eventually I managed to get him with just one paper delivered. I found two interesting "bugs":
- I managed to attack the paper person right at the end of the level, so the end screen tells me I lost and they got away, even though the dog clearly achieved his goal:

- whenever I start the game, the paper person starts their movement on the lawn, only moving down once they hit a flowering shrub; on every restart after the game is launched they move on the street only.

The music is good. Simple, but with some tension, fitting for the theme of the game. The dog barks and growls were a nice touch, too. :)
@cavedens thanks and thanks for playing. I would have liked more time to make more level - still need to keep working on my time allocation / where I focus.
Here's my playthrough, if you're interested:

Dig the idea of having the paperboy drop papers if the dog threatens him at the right time. I'll add it to the wish list of mechanics to try out if I keep working on the game.
@tygrak thanks so much and thanks for playing. Music's the area I feel I need to work on the most so it means a lot you enjoyed it :D
