Hi there! I’m archangel Michael! You may remember me from my DJing days touring as “David Guetta” or from my appearances in Wes Anderson movies.

I bring exciting news!!

You’ve been selected to carry the seed of our Lord and delivering His child on to this world, so he can grow and save humanity and banish all sin™.

You’ll just need to last one more night until his birth.

But be careful, there are some enemies looking for you while Joseph is looking for a nice room (lol).

EDIT: We realised, from your comments, that when you turned off the sound in the main menu, the game halted after the tutorial. This has been fixed in every build. Sorry for that, enjoy!

The graphics are very good, they really have that 90's vibe to them, especially the title screen.
If the sound is muted the game freezes once Michael stops talking and can't do anything beyond that.

I really like the graphics, the gameplay reminds me of vampire survivors and the like. Maybe fewer obstacles would have been good though, I kept getting stuck on things.

Great entry. I managed to survive on my second attempt. When you're just walking in one direction it's pretty easy.
The music was really good - I could listen to it like forever.

Pretty sure the "power of christ" melting the flesh from peoples bones was not in the book but this is canon to me now

1st tried it! It was really close tho. Honestly if it wasnt for the the jokes and interesting story would've definately skiped trough the whole explenation. Great Game!

Love the graphics! Game is p simple and really easy (I kind of just walked in the same direction forever and the enemies couldn't catch up to me) but this is a funny way to take the theme haha!

I found the game to be solid in its purpose and liked how it was tied into the theme. However, I feel that the stone the player throws is almost irrelevant to the gameplay, since it's not that difficult to use the power and it's much more effective. The fact that the objective is simply to survive for 5 minutes makes the game quite easy, as you only need to walk in one direction. Nevertheless, I believe that with a bit more polish these things could be corrected. It's a promising game.

It obviously reminds me 'vampire survivors'. The story is funny. The game perhaps too easy, the main difficulty is the square hitbox of obstacle (should be reduced/rounded in my opinion). Some upgrade system / amo / collectible / ... could help spice up the gameplay with an increasing difficulty.
Overall that was funny.

I thought Mary could stomp the serpent, but not in this game. XD I really enjoyed the classic visuals and music. The amount of skulls piling up in the desert were staggering! Well done. :)

Lovely game! Makes me want to play vampire survivors again, which is extremely dangerous... :laughing: Wonderful desert art, very chill game, and the power of christ RULED. Balanced really well, too. And good music. Overall, I loved this, I'd totally play more.

@jiexdrop yeah, I know, it was something we didn't have time to fix. It's essentially a spawn point miscalculation, so it should be easy to fix, but we just didn't have the time. We might do it later, though...

Mary sure does not have an easy task. Was a bit hard the first time cause I did not check the controls properly and use her special power, but the second time around I managed with that. I enjoyed pretty much all, the jokes, art, BGM and gameplay. GG C:

A game with serious vampire survivors vibes that is also accessible to Christians. The enemy AI could be more aggressive. Most of them did not immediately attacked the player character, even though they seemed to be in reach. Anyway, I had a blast!
