A relaxing platformer where you play as a girl trying to deliver a baby bird back to its nest while meeting animal friends along the way.

Controls:

MOVE: WASD / arrow keys

JUMP: space / up-arrow

SHIFT: pick up / throw

Game Length: 5-10 minutes

My wife (KaylaGorezzz) decided to join me for this game jam, and since she is a Kindergarten teacher we decided to make a game that even her students could enjoy.

OMG, this game is so cute! I had a blast playing it and loved all the different things you can do. But seriously, that owl needs to chill, it's too much for me haha.

I really liked that, lots of fun things to do on your way up the tree. The owl game was a little tough! Love the music too.

Cute game! Loved the little interactions and mini games within, I kinda wish the movement was just a tad bit faster, felt a little floaty and slow but for beginner friendly platformers it's nice!

Good work! Some nice little mini games in-between which made a cute game. I also liked how the parent bird kind of reminds me of the one from paper mario 64, not sure if that was intentional but it made me feel nostalgic.

Amazing jobs, the environment, art and sound all meshed together nicely. I really liked that I could fail at each individual challenges and keep going vs restarting the whole game. I must have done the owl tag 10 times before catching that rascal.

*Relentlessly* adorable. XD

The platforming was a little fudgy, but I'm glad that wasn't the focus - the minigames kept things interesting and were implemented well enough to make them diverting instead of onerous.

I also loved all the animations you worked in, and details like how the girl has an extra frame facing the camera when she turns.

Cute pixelart and nice music and sounds. Those elements made nice arcadey mood. The dialogues were a nice touch... Seems that our game was not the only one with a rude squirrel :laughing:

Gameplay felt little too slow and platforming was little clunky, but the level design was ok.

Minigames brought nice variety to platforming and all minigames were nicely different.

I tried to do an 'acorn skip', but since you only check the X position for the dialogue trigger, I got stuck after I got to the owl :p

Charming little game :) The animations are well done. Small details like the hair flowing and eyes moving really give it character. I really liked the variety of gameplay. The jump does feel a bit 'floaty' though.

i appreciated the non-violent approach to problem solving as a spin on the platforming obstacles. nice chill game, everything very pleasant.
