Made this solo on Sat/Sun. Art, music, and sound has been ripped off the net, as I wanted to focus on making some good gamemplay. My main goal was to focus on momentum and speed being central to the game loop and dictating how well the player does. At the same time, I wanted the player to have to work to maintain momentum.

The most challenging part was creating the momentum system, as well as adding enough squish so that it's not satisfying to move around without some momentum. That took a lot of iteration, and there's about four or five different effects that go into making the difference between no momentum and some momentum very noticable.

Wow, the game is quite a unique take on the theme. The music choice is also quite good and it's all in all fun!

Took me a bit to understand how to get new ammo and where to shoot but once you have a grasp at it it's quite fun, got a final score of 967

This game is a bit confusing to me. The soundtrack seems to be inspiredby 90's house music, but it got on my nerves pretty quickly. I do however like the TRON-inspired graphics.

The aesthetic is simply killer. My only issues were getting the pickups and understanding the difference between spam and mail (Which, in retrospect, is obvious!). Great job on this!

If anyone else is struggling with the web player, Unity games are best played in fullscreen. Scroll the scrollbars in teh game panel until you see the fullscreen button.

This game in particular feels _really juicy_ in full screen! :heartbeat:

Super fun game once you figure out the controls, I love the feeling of the dash so much and can tell how much care went into designing it

Need a more intuitive tutorial. Once I get the idea, things became really interesting. btw, the menu screen is cool and the trick to use icons ripped from Gmail is really cool!

What you focused on, the feeling of momentum, feels really solid and tight. Echoing what others have said, I think it's confusing at the start. Might have been good to have the info screen straight up on the title screen so it's easier to understand without digging in! Other critique would be that the inbox/outbox icons should have looked a lot different instead of just an arrow. Would have helped with clarity. Other than that, once you get the hang of it it's delightful to shmove and move!

This is exactly how I imagine gmail functions! The game is super fun, loved the feed back on the movement and shooting! Awesome game!

very dopamine inducing gameplay, I agree with some of the comments with how it was confusing as first, but as you play, and get to know the game. It felt better and better as you stack momentum to zip around delivering mail. Well done!

That's a nice one, visuals get really god job at making this feel dynamic, although I feel like animating the FOV while dashing would make it even better.

Some reference point for scoring would also be cool. I got 5000 score, but I don't know if it's any good. Fake leaderboards are a nice way to achieve this, with made up names and their scores. This would add a bit to replayability.

@lisek-gagatek I do believe the FOV is interpolated depending on the multiplier/momentum. However, it's only noticeable in full screen. Great idea regarding the score board, next arcade-style game I make I'll be adding one!

Nice to see a fast paced game that is implemented well, took me a moment to understand what exactly I was supposed to do, but once I got the hang of it I had fun. Good job!

Very cool mechanics. It's really fun when you get the a good rhythm of switching between ammo types.

As everyone mentions, it's kinda tricky to understand at first, but the controls are really good and the game feel works perfectly!

I liked the immersion here, I really felt like I was running inside the computer, like in Tron. I agree that at first it's a bit difficult to understand what needs to be done, but once you figure it out, the game flows well. The aesthetics of the game really help with the immersion and it's a fun game. Maybe if there were more obstacles, it would be more exciting, but that's just a suggestion. Anyway, it's a good game.

Nice unique take on the theme, I never even considered an email game! The mood was also nice, I think the music and visuals fit the game well.

I think the icons for the inbox and outbox could have looked more different; it wasn't clear at a glance which one I was looking at. It also could have been nice to have some goal other than high score e.g. deliver all the mail, or making it a survival game with more spam over time rather than the timer just running out.

Overall great game and a unique gameplay loop!

I really enjoyed the gameplay - it was smooth and fluid, and it gave me a great sense of immersion in the game world. The sound effects played a big role in enhancing this experience. I have to admit that I was a bit confused about the objective at first, but once I figured it out, everything fell into place and I was able to play more smoothly. Overall, great work on the game!
