Cool game, I liked the graphics and music. Idea was nice, but there was lots of bugs, I slept and lost a team member and he still was on the list. I couldn't discard team members and couldn't buy more when the list was full.

It seems that features were unfinished, and I had to quit when the team got stuck and wouldn't move after trying to stop a dialogue with own team member. Still it was interesting gathering team members and juggling who went first and who kited the enemies while team got to shoot them.

Really solid entry! So many characters with different abilities and whatnot, and the art looks great! Impressive job.

This was super cool, I'm impressed that you put procgen into a jam like this. Also, I would have really loved to level up in this so I could increase my shot speed.

Here's the VOD on youtube with timestamps! Thanks again!

How can this game only have 5 rating! It feels so well polished. Everything works as you would expect from a full game. maybe I didn't notice the first rat immediately because it was rather small. But once I noticed what to look out for that was ok. Not sure what I could say to improve the game.

Wow what a cool small game with a lot of characters, rangom generation and overall good artistic style!

The only feedback I have is some kind of possibility to define AI behavior, coz the whole my party died just facerolling over ogres (or cyclops?), tho they are range guys and should be hit-and-running around.

But aside of that I've delivered (lol) the message and got a pretty satisfying run through

Incredibly impressive, not sure how much was done purely in jam but benefit of the doubt applies.
Some feedback/polish ideas:
- Characters should have some sort of bar showing attack cooldown. Gets confusing when playing the paladin and you are just clicking furiously
- Rearrange party in the camp or during the map segment

Not much more since the overall quality is very high.

This is the best Ludum Dare entry I have seen so far.It is really polished and really fun. There are so many little details that make evetything very satisfying. The zoom in on conversations, the attack predictions, the options of managing your party. It is all really good.

I played it from start to finish and want to play more to try and get a different party composition together. I like that it is not punishing and short.

Veyr well done!

Well put together game which looks great. The player character's rate of fire is maybe just slow enough to be a little frustrating but I guess you can recruit party members to deal with that issue for you :) Excellent entry!

This entry was impressive. The controls felt super natural, the graphics (and especially the music) were gorgeous and I loved the aspect of building your party and generating a perfect strategy. So impressed by this- really great job!

This game was pretty fun. I liked how it looked, I have no clue how on earth you managed to put this together in time for the jam, but good job. The atmosphere of the game was solid, and it played as expected. It made me want to replay it, so I ended up finishing it twice. I wasn't able to get to the end without any character deaths though, my healers kept killing themselves on the trolls. (Guess I got trolled)
Also, the cryomancer is sort of useless when you don't control him.

I do think you could expand upon this, either convert it into a full roguelike with procedurally generated levels, or add more levels and flesh it out a bit more. I personally would prefer the latter.
The AI isn't bad, but it definitely needs more improvements. It was also a bit annoying to manually organize the party, since if you got close-range allies in the late-game he would stay in the back until you reorganized your team order with the "You should lead" dialogue option.
This is a really fun game too though.

I hope you had fun in the jam, would love to see your entries in the next one!

Feels like a real RPG of sorts. Too much action (and too slow battles) to my taste though. But huge work!

Great game balance and overall style! Polished and procedural map gen! I love it! It seemed like there was intent to let the characters level up?

Oh Wow. Thats a proper game, I want it on Steam. Really gives GTA 1 and 2 vibes, but controls way better. And you have a "procedural generation" system. One small nitpick: Game nudges player to play as a close up meleer with the way party members acquire agro.

Excellent work.

Possibly the best entry I've played. This had tremendous polish and playability. I'm thoroughly impressed. Loved the art. Very impressed at how much art there was! Sound design was effective too. I didn't find any holes.

The lightwood~ I love the aesthetics, the moment I saw this played on a stream I wanted to play it too. Everything visually works together so well and is really a coherent one unit. I also enjoyed the game-play a lot and like some others gave me the past vibes of GTA, GTA2 beside the obviousy Darkwood one and yes I've missed those vibes a lot. I enjoyed the quirky dialogue, though at times is a bit too similar(GPT loves it), but overall it's jolly. Marvelous work on this and I hope you continue on it at least a tiny bit~ Jolly good game!

This really felt like I just played a demo of a full game. Such a beautiful experience. Short story, many characters to play. Interesting party variety. Enjoyed it a lot!
Here's some suggestions for maybe future improvement:
- Melee AI, that was really a problem, tanks/supports were constantly in the back
- Bow shooting, it felt wrong that I couldn't hold to shoot and the same time I was not really charging the bow, just spamming
- Some balance would be good) in the end I kinda broke the game with 2 stunners, they were stopping trolls from moving completely
Great game overall, congrats! And the barb spinning animation is the best!)

The ending is amazing. All those people died.... for !!! I won't spoil it!
So fun I played it twice.
I will say one annoying thing is having to talk to people to switch menus. Why not just click on the portrait? And add a boot icon?

Hey @idan9000 and @matterlinx

Awesome game that you guys made in the game , I personally love the "party-raider" genre of the game, the art is absolutely wonderful! The only suggestions I can make is to be able to easier change the order of the party and to have stats like damage of the party, health of the party and so on, other than that great game!

Really great game, super reminiscent of Kingdom Two Crowns, but for having the group building mechanics.
Awesome job!

Such a sick game, yall gotta do this one for steam too. The inclusion of coop was awesome! I loved having a jam game I could play with gf one of the few times she joined me on stream <3!
