Nice concept, I might take it and make a live game out of it

Nice submission! Love to see some variety here with a board game. The concise rules read well, and the player has lots of strategic choices to maximize their score. Would be fun to write an algorithm to play this :D

Haven't tried out a tabletop game before so this was a fun change of pace. Surprisingly I won a perfect win in my first game. Was it luck or strategy I don't know? In any case, it definitely came down to the final rolls to get a 1 and then push it to the top, so good job on making it cut so close!

Nice, dicey solitare. I appreciate how this is a 1-page rule set, with the back of the page being the board and the player aid.

Okay I played it and I have to say it was a lot of fun. Kind of like a solitaire with dice.

I ended the game with three, three, three, three, two, two. Six dice for a perfect score, I'm not sure if the added numbers mean anything?

The game itself was a blast and very well designed and tested from my perspective.
The pdf was a little bare and didn't seem the reflect the gameplay.

To get a perfect score, you need to get a 1-2-3-4-5-6 to the finish line, sorry if that was unclear!

Also I made this in just a couple hours Monday night after our planned Jam game fell through, so the graphic design flourishes didn't happen (maybe we'll release it as Extra?)

This is brilliant - love seeing a boardgame in the competition. Nice clear rules, using things everyone has at home (at last a justification for the tub of hundreds of D6s that I bought on a whim several months back!), and a fun and challenging little solo puzzle game. Great work!!

As a fan of board games, I appreciated your idea. I think if you refine it, it would make a good quick game.

Interesting concept! Did 4, 4, and 5 on my first three tries. 6 definitely seems possible, but also pretty luck-based, which is fair of course, it's a fun solitary game!

Neat! I enjoyed playing around with this. If I had a physical chessboard handy it could be a fun time sink for sure.

It's unusual to see board games in LD. I feel like the Game End condition could be reworded as there's a point where you'll eventually run out of options. I ended up with a score of 5 (didn't manage to get the 1 up) on my first try. The game is easy to understand, setup and play though it requires a lot of dices (I didn't have enough so I used a spreadsheet as board). One complaint I'd have is that it feels a bit too luck based in the later resupplies.

"Very thematic.", heh. I'm always happy to see print-and-play submissions, they are a breath of fresh air. As you mention, the theme connection feels a bit thin, but otherwise it plays smoothly, and the rules are very neatly composed and laid out. Well done!

Nice simple rules that are clearly explained.

The grid could use some fun graphics, and you could even include some cut-and-fold dice with fun glyphs on them.

I could even see this as a fun game idea for mobile.

Nice, quick entry!
