I really dig the aesthetic and sound choices along with the satisfying gameplay. The animation had some very nice squash & stretch, and the levels themselves were also very well designed, with a hook and a catch!
I'd say that a button to restart levels instead of having to kill oneself would reduce some tedium though.
I did enjoy the game regardless though!
I recorded myself playing for extra feedback.

Satisfying figuring out the puzzles. I had to stop and think, which is a mark of good level design! And super nice touch with the timer and secrets.
Really struggling to find faults, great job all around.
Really nice touch dragging that chain around with you the whole time
The only criticism I have is that it would be better to have pickup/throw keybinding as a button/toggle and not as a "hold button". It was quite irritating.
art, music, sfx, movement everything is smooth as butter~
but it's not just the game feel that bops,
the puzzle design here is really amazing too! not easy at all~
hell'o a good job *:)*
Congratulations on the excellent work.
The SFX gave a nice feeling to your game and the graphics are simply amazing! The animations are very fluid!
Smart Level design, with new mechanics been added as we pass trough the levels. Some puzzles forced me to think for a while.
The only negative point was that the controls using the arrow keys are uncomfortable (J + [Keys]?). A solution could be allow the player grab the box with the 'F' key for example.
Overall, a great entry! Good job, guys!
PS: The plot twist on the final will make me have nightmares at night
I LOVED the artstyle, LOVED the music, LOVED the gameplay, LOVED the ending. I don't know what to criticise here, you made something beautiful. Might be my favorite and the most polished game this jam.
Here is a link to the VOD that starts at your section.

I left a comment about a resolution bug on itch
art is beautiful, controls are on point, audio too
i just wich i could resize the window since it's a little small on 4k
also not sure about the stay pressed mecanic for lifting versus just push. It seems logical considering the action, but can sometimes be a little bit awkward.
Really nice entry anyway
There is so much different mechanics to exploit that with only new level designs you already have a big game with a lot of level. For the jam it's perfect, but I think each mechanics could have a bit more time/levels to understand.
All in all, awesome job in so little time !

After adding a lot of mechanics to the game, we didn't add a lot of levels because we wanted to keep it short. That's why we couldn't do the levels where the mechanics were kept simple.
Thanks again!
Very challenging as well, I needed some time to get used to the gameplay. Overall one of the best entries I played so far, great work!!!!!!
Saw your creation on a stream and I can say that it's a freaking cool small platformer, really appreaciate playing it (even tho I've seen the play through on the stream). It's really lovely from all perspectives! I do like sprites, music and animation.
Cheers, guys, really good result!
Not my best time as I had to make a few attempts for the confetti, but I got it >w<

It is really shocking to see lots of usual-for-polished-games stuff like transitions, lighting, tutorials, decorative animations, big props!
As for critisism, I have two "buts" for this game. One is the obvious lack of throwing trajectory, it was more than frustrating to redo the same throw 3-4 times, and do total 10+ failed throws per level. Second one is more subtle, and it's lack of interesting mechanics. Like, buttons, movable boxes and deadly lasers are something of a common thing for platformers. If you didn't intend to go for unique experience then it's ok, but anyway it seemed like I've played these "layouts" dozens of times with the same steps to complete the level. If you were to make a full game out of it, then it would be cool to see some interesting mechanic to break the default flow of level design.
Still huge thumbs up to the whole team. Dig the style (which reminds me of Enter the Gungeon), enjoy the sound, love the polishing. Hope this does not stay as a LD-only project
I think it would be cool to add the patchnote of the post jam version tho. The itch page also looks great btw :)

Art and animations obviously very high quality. The little touches like the "vibration" of the laser source and the contact splash it makes with the ground really add a lot to the atmosphere.
Player controller is also really well done. Right amount of upward speed and gravity, always felt 100% in control. Could do with some coyote frames though!
Game design also really good. Tight, simple puzzles that give you a good eureka moment when you realise what you have to do.
Great entry. Expect to see this somewhere near the top!
The humor is dark and twisted. I like that too. The ending was funny. You did a great job
Graphics and style was really pretty and coherent, and I really liked the ending. Well done :)
+ At first the big bag was introduced as a platform, I thought I needed to make a pixel perfect jump and eventually I made it. I was super confused in the next level, until I accidentally picked up the big bag. Maybe also mention that it can be picked up along with the platform stuff.
The difficulty ramps VERY quickly, to the point I almost quit at the 3rd level. But there was something about it that kept me trying until I finally beat it.
I loved all the little details, (the way the jump feels, the little squish when you press down, the dust fx on your feet, how you die, how you die when you get squished by a platform, :joy: , the way the lasers feel and react, and the charming jump in the box anim).
This game is stupidly good, on all levels. If I had to pick a top game for this jam, this might be it for me.
Anyway super solid entry! Kudos!
