HOWDY!!! Welcome to your first day at Ganymede Shipping Company, the fastest delivery service this side of the Asteroid Belt. We ship all sorts of packages to every corner of the solar system. Your job is to inspect outgoing packages to make sure their documentation is all in order.

How to Play:

-Click on stickers from the Sticker Palette on the right of the screen, and place them somewhere on the package in front of you

-For each package, you can either Approve or Deny it by placing a green or red sticker on it respectively

-After Approving or Denying the package, click the button labelled "Next" to call the next package

-Some stickers require additional data to be entered. To do this, simply click on the data field on the sticker, and either type in a number or select an entry from a dropdown menu

-Make sure all rules are followed properly. To see a full list of rules that currently apply, click on the button labelled "View Rulebook"

I suspect I am not seeing the full screen I am supposed to see, got here but see no buttons to click.
So far was able to see a very nice start screen with some sounds.

@velvetlobster yeah, the sides of the screen are cut off for some reason, sorry about that :( I've only tested the game in 16:9, maybe your monitor is a different aspect ratio and it's causing it to not display properly? Maybe try the WebGL version in small-screen and see if that displays properly?

Wow, the difficulty really ramps up quickly on this one, doesn't it? But the look and feel is fantastic! Great job finding sounds and music that line up with the atmosphere, it really helps the immersion. I experienced similar issues with cutoff screen elements at any browser/window size, including fullscreen(3440x1440). I feel like the complexity could've been introduced more slowly, and a handier reference to the rules and matching regulations in game would've made it more fun and less... taxing on my poor brain. Overall, very nicely done! :tada:

@bloodyaugust thanks for playing and leaving feedback! Sorry to hear you're having issues with screen cutoff as well, I will try to figure out a fix for this. Glad you liked the game anyway :)

I didn't think that slapping stickers would be so fun! There's some issues you already know about from other commenters but the atmosphere and music are really great, pretty solid concept and would work really well on mobile

ETA in reference to question about display problem: I played the itch.io web version, the embedded game window maxes to my monitor width and so the edge is hidden behind the browser scroll bar. maybe not the game issue but the size selection for the itch page?

@themule thanks for playing! The display problems should have been fixed already as of the version I uploaded earlier today. Is it still an issue for you? If so could you please be more specific so I can figure out what's going wrong still?

Love me some space papers please  . I was getting overwhelmed at first, but I got really into the swing of things and was honestly left wanting more packages after it all. My only real gripe is that typing in numbers for the interplanetary visa was a bit annoying, since most of the game is mouse driven. It could be nice to have some way so that it could be played completely via a mouse, could make for a good touch screen game as well.

Overall though, great job!

@dgo thank you so much for playing, glad you enjoyed!! I do agree that it's annoying to keep switching between keyboard and mouse, I just wasn't sure how to solve that without removing that mechanic entirely

Fair enough! I think maybe being able to click the id and drag it onto the visa could have worked, or some minimal on screen keyboard, but no worries, I just turned on num lock and used my keypad :)

Fun! Perfect for the theme, like a 3D version of *Papers, Please*. I had a great time playing.

This is such a cool concept! I definitely felt the complexity progression of the demands. Great theme and graphics. I do agree having to switch to typing in the visa numbers broke the flow a bit.
Anyway, I loved the feeling of flipping through the notebook of planetary symbols and placing the stickers; nice work!

much less dystopian papers please. Fun game, but I wish I could have seen my final score before being sent right back to the starting menu. Great job

@philwonder thanks for playing, glad you enjoyed! I agree it would be good to have the final score visible somewhere, I may add that in a post-jam update

Took me a bit of time to get to understanding everything but I did intuitively figure everything out which was great! Had a super fun time making sure everything was right before sending the boxes away. Would be cool to see this fleshed out into a full game maybe have some other kinda gameplay to break up the days & make your correct/mistakes matter more

I loved the game! It has a theme that I adore, which is astronomy. The music is delightful and fun to listen to while playing, and I really enjoyed being able to move and manage the stamps (another thing I adore) in a Papers Please style.
The gameplay is smooth and fluid. The only thing I struggled with was the Asteroid Pass because I couldn't easily tell which planets were in the Asteroid Belt. Overall, congratulations on an excellent job and an amazing game! <( ̄︶ ̄)>

@yumykon thank you so much for playing!! glad you enjoyed! :)

the idea for the asteroid passes is that any package that has to go through the asteroid belt (between Mars and Jupiter) to get to where it’s going, needs to have a pass. That includes the four inner planets (Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars) plus anything in the asteroid belt itself (in which case it will say so on its sticker).

The art style and mechanic are all nicely polished with the right amount of juice applied. That being said I found myself thinking am I playing or am I working? Kudos on getting the authentic vibes going but I am on my holiday now so I quit!
