Very frustrating game. But it was satisfying once I got to the end. Stupid robot kept flipping up and kicking the ball out right at the end. But my strategy ended up being just tapping D quickly the whole run.

@crimoudin yeah it can be very frustrating, it's unfortunately a bit of a failed experiment, it's just not really fun. Thanks for sticking it out to the end though!

Hello @cireneikual222464 letting you know there's an issue with the web version "If you're seeing this error, it means I can't find your index.html file."

@boboch-d-brew yes, unfortunately I don't think there is much I can do about it, it works just fine on itch.io (so give it a try there if you haven't already). The index.html is in the root of the zip, just as it is in the itch.io version.

It's like QWOP but your success is at the mercy of an unpredictable, emotionless robot. Maybe it's symbolic for humanity's relationship with artificial intelligence. (Also, holding D works better than just spamming D.)

Very interesting concept though, and a funny use of 2D physics.

Just when I'm thinking I want to learn more about AI, this happens. :) great thought of something different and new!

Nice small game. Was very weird to control the ball and not the robot! Had fun 👍👍

I tried my best, but i wasn't able to get anywhere near the goal. Sometimes i wondered if my inputs were doing anything at all :O

Pretty novel idea! The times where the robot would flip itself over felt a little unfair, but I generally like the concept of what you were going for.

I was frustrated at first because I thought I was supposed to be influencing the rotation of the robot with A/D, but just as I was about to quit I realized you are actually moving the ball xD

I started doing immediately better once I realized that, but even then I think the robo was too erratic and even with perfect play you would still get restarted. Sometimes I was still in the basket, but the robo was rotated like 90 degrees. Really cool concept, just a little too random

It has simple mechanics and offers a good challenge, not bad

The idea is fun and and the game looks funny. I have a feeling that I did nearly nothing, and the game mostly was controlled by the AI. But anyway it's this still an interesting little jam game. Well done.

Somehow reminded me of the old QWOP game mixed with the Box2D car genetic alg cars from back in the days!
Did no manage to make it to the end though - a bit more balancing would have been nice, but it is the good kind of frustrating that makes you want to bring things to an end! Interesting idea!

as some of the commenters pointed out, a bit frustrating, but maybe if the feedback for your actions was visualized better, some proper feedback, it might've worked well!
