There's coins and gems too!

Use A and D to run, space to jump and E to interact with chests and your date.

Graphics are from Free Platform Game Assets by Bayat Games on the Unity asset store with extra sprites found online.
Music is from Casual Game BGM #5 by B.G.M on the Unity asset store.
Sound effects are from FREE Casual Game SFX Pack by Dustyroom on the Unity asset store.

Everything else is all me :D.

Edit: Fixed a bug that disabled interaction. No other changes were made.

The date wouldn't accept the ice cream for some reason.

For a first game jam game, very good! I quite enjoyed playing it actually! The only real issues is that the movement feels a bit too floaty and that the level is bit too hard (that one might be a me issue). Other than that, great game! Keep on making games!

Oh, whoops, seems like I accidentally deleted the ability to interact with the date while fixing a last minute bug. That's embarrassing. I fixed it now though, I hope that's not against the LD rules.

And thank you for the feedback, Triangle :). I intentionally tried to make level 1 easy to complete but hard to get the gem. It's definitely the easiest one out of the 8 levels though so I might have gone a bit too hard here.
