MailBeats ✉️🎶 by Adam Gaskins

Headphones are recommended! (Although wireless ones may cause latency)
Inspired by the classic Paperboy arcade game, but with a twist-- You gotta throw the letters into the mailboxes, to the beat! Featuring 4 songs of various difficulties (the whole game takes about 5 minutes to beat).
- v0.2: Added extra control aliases
- v0.3: Fixed off-beat charting on last song

Music is great, art is great, it worked flawlessly for me on Windows.
Keep it up!
It was a little trippy watching the icons get closer, maybe adjusting their size as they approach would have helped a little bit! The songs were well charted. I'd like to see what an 'expert' difficulty chart would look like! awesome work!
I happened to have made a music-based game as well! Check it out if ya like :D
Gameplay is simple yet very responsive and gives a nice feel to the game.
Pixel art is cool, it does the job but I my opinion you have a strong base to do some amazing pixel art... But for a jam it's already really cool.
Well done !
the pixel art is good and the gameplay is solid! rhythm games are tricky to nail but i think you did a good job. i would love to see some harder levels, there's a lot of potential here for alternating rhythms (think taiko no tatsujin style). wish that there was some in game text explaining how to hit the cones since it's not very intuitive that you're supposed to press up.
What I DID get to play was absolutely fantastic, even if the road parallax hurt my brain. Having made rhythm games before, I know what a nightmare it is to get timing working. Good work!
