I'd be hardpressed to call it the most creative interpretation of the theme, however its execution is fine, and from what i could tell after 372 seconds is that there was quite a bit of content here. I couldnt get past bullying bullets. Just a game design tip in jams, balance the game to what you'd find very easy, if you cant playtest it with a friend, you are way better than other people at playing your own game because you made it and you've played a lot of it over the last couple days.

@leo-barber-dev Thanks for the feedback! I tend to make games a bit too easy but I must have overcompensated trying to make this one harder.

Challenging to navigate the spikes, hit box was unforgiving. I didn't notice they were spikes at first, and tried to drive my truck a few times. Simple concept but not bad for LD, nice work!

Got 06:58! Top of the leaderboard baby! This game turned out to be much more fun than I anticipated, I think it's very well designed. The difficulty was just right, challenging but not unfairly so. It's not fun if a game is a breeze to go through. Some levels had me at the edge of my seat, especially the last one. I like how much content you managed to fit in, numerous levels with new concepts introduced often enough to keep it fresh and new takes on old concepts. I have to say again that this is very well designed. The graphics are simple but do their job. The music is catchy and fitting. The fact that you included a leaderboard is awesome. This game is worthy of praise, you should be proud!

Good stuff, impressive that you managed to get so many levels made, and the level progression feels fair but challenging. Nice job with the music as well. Got 11:15!

It could be cool if the levels played differently somehow on the way back to the truck. Could be something simple like the player speeds up, but so do the enemies, or something like that. Also at some points it felt to me like the player's hurtbox was a little bit bigger than I expected, I think typically in bullet hell type games the hurtbox is way smaller than the sprite to make it a bit more fair. But definitely really enjoyed, I might have to come back to beat my score later...

Really fun little game! Although sometimes unforgiving, it felt really good to play and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Although dying on the way back hurt me everytime

I love how fun and challenging this one was! It feels like you scoped it very appropriately in terms of new mechanics and a good number of well-designed levels. There was a nice ebb and flow of difficulty spikes and areas to relax after each one. I also really like how you doled out new mechanics on each level to keep things interesting and keep the player learning new tricks all the time. I managed to reach 2nd place on the leaderboard! :)

I liked the music for the game and the colour scheme which made obstacles easy to pick out. I typically recommend for games like this one to allow for multiple hits so that it's less frustrating to repeat a level from the start, but considering that memorizing the level allows you run through it faster it might be better to leave it the way it is for that benefit. Regardless nice work on getting this done for th COMPO!

Why are these people's lawns so dangerous? :') Fun concept, I love the idea of a game made specifically for speed runs. I was surprised at the variety of levels and difficulties. I don't know how I feel about having to get to the house and then back to the truck, the backtracking is not particularly interesting, but it makes sense story-wise obviously. Nice work
