collect as many eggs in 1 min that the hens delivered. nothing more. very simple.

did all by myself and with a little help from Chat-GPT and Dall-E.

the music is from my own music library that I created so it's my own copyrights.

I wanted to upload a bigger game but it is with assets from the asset store... so I changed to this simple game in the middle of the compo jam. because compo means that all needs to be done by you, not others. so... that's what it is.

I tried not to laugh, but the concept and all, I just couldn't hold it. had to do this one...

Needs physical keyboard. use the A,Z,'",/?, keys for movement.

if you play it on the Ludlum platform then use full screen but if you play it on itch.io then size correct.

@kykypy3o8 About the speed : it's funny to see it while playing couldn't stop laughing.
rapid delivery of eggs it's hilarious, to my opinion.
this feature is a reduction of time intervals between instantiations of eggs.

I just wanted to press on keys and laugh at the same time, that's the whole concept.

Interesting key arrangements! One hack I found is that, if you just iterate through the keys extremely quickly, you will catch all the eggs (or so it seems)

why thoses keys? :smile:

The trick is to identify the fury chicken, and the score gets pretty high by itself. yes, cute game.

@sdelay those keys reminds me the old ink games before game boy when you had the rubber yellow buttons on each side for the fingers. thanks.

Funny game. The key config does not work on Euro keyboard at least i can't seem to find bottom right key. Smashing keyboard gets you the most eggs :) Overall 9/10 on humor.

Found a bug where on the HTML 5 version the music and SFX toggle did not work funny game.

I found it hilarious when one or more chickens started spewing a ton of eggs at a fast speed lol! Nice work and the music is very fitting and nice to listen to.

Music sounds so grand - and the sound effects make it feel like the chickens are really there.

Controls seemed weird for the first few seconds but then made complete sense.

Found it really relaxing really enjoyed when the chickens went nuts laying eggs.

@kitira the keys are like the old ink games 2 on each(:[ ]:) side before the standard joystick arrived (+[ ]::)

Very odd control scheme, kinda of bothersome, on canadian keyboard I had to hold shift too to make the ' please use only letters or arrows next time. Classic game but still kind of fun with the physic, music is good though!

A very simple game that completely replicates the gameplay of an old Nintendo game. The only thing that was more or less pleased was the soundtrack. Eggs sometimes start to appear like a machine gun, and the controls are not convenient. Graphics from DALLE are also not very pleasing to the eye.

Game had I fun idea but I have a finnish keyboard so I had to stretch out my hands.

@hugetube thank you for playing :) I realized the the keys are not ordinary placed that is because I wanted to get the ease of laying the fingers on the keyboard, but I learned from this game that special characters are placed in different places on each keyboard so better to stick to letters only.
that's a big take away from this game.

Cool game with a neat visual. The main gameplay is fun enought, but please change the keys - and allow simply the arrows keys in order to move the farmer. You should add a leaderboard online? Just an idea. I had fun playing ++

the control scheme is very confusing to begin with, and the game's a pretty simple nice lil game, digging the music in it.

Hey, funny little game, I have fun! I don´t know why you put that inputs lol, they are not great, I think maybe you need to deliver the collected eggs somewhere, maybe a level 2, that could fit more on the theme, overall nice entry, The chicken sounds are funny, cool work!

@lexuor thank you for playing the game. the eggs shooting was intentional so speed grows over time. the keyboard keys layout also was to try to mimic the old ink games with 4 - 3 buttons each side before Nintendo game boy.
(I guess you have Canadian keyboard) from this game I've learned that " and ' are upside down and better to stick to letters and not symbol's. each country lay it differently on the keyboard. I cannot change it now as it will go out of compo. but I will give the option to choose the key from the user if LD53 allows it.

ok I fixed the score Logic bug and the wired keys different keyboards bug (as users mentioned.)

instead of ("') and (/?) Now it's (K) and (M).
