The idea seems interesting but the game is too hard/frustrating in the early levels for new players. Inputs from just prior to restarting also seem to carry through to the next round.

Hi! I really liked the idea, the art is lovely and drifting is a lot of fun. I'm not used to this kind of controls so it was really hard for me and I only managed to do a few levels.
On a practical side, having a reminder to hit space to go to the next level would be helpful.
Nice job overall!

I was unable to finish all the levels, but I had an absolutely awesome time failing to finish them. I destroyed so many poor trains on rocks, railings, wagons, trees. Fantastic little game!

Can u developers actually pass the levels LOL, very nice game and soundeffect and everything except that these levels are really hard, the mechanism is really fun, I wish there was a pure playground without these obstacles and I can drift all day.

Yep, I've got like 8 levels and then this hardcore trees just broke me (as other fun-simulator games with their ending levels). For dev Lethargic they were pretty normal-ish, just click-click-click and YUDUN (ofc there were error trials too ^_^).

thats one of the difficulty spikes of all time. would be neat to see a fail counter. otherwise super cool game :}

Wow, that was hard ^^ But also fun. I gave up on the (I think) 3rd level where you have to connect a wagon. I had to restart reaaaally often to get there, but somehow it was fun. But on the level where the wagon is placed behind a rock (and the rail is more or less straigth ahaid from your starting point), I gave up. Here I would have really needed a difficulty controller to turn the speed down :sweat_smile: Liked the music and graphics and overall the game idea. And drifting with the train is really fun!

I love the visuals and the music. The game idea is really fun. But for me the speed was a bit too high, and the game was overall a bit too difficult. But else a really well made jam game. Well done.

Beautiful game and great work on the sounds and I also liked the graphic transitions between levels. The gameplay seems challenging and fast.

The premise is awesome and the overall presentation is phenomenal but something is definitely a little off about the difficulty.

One thing that might be an issue is that the player's starting angle and position seemed to vary slightly after failures which has a pretty big effect on drifting in such small spaces. Maybe it was just me, but levels like 4 and 5 became much easier when I quit back to the main menu and returned to them properly lined up.

Overall it is a remarkably clean and complete package of a game for a jam - perhaps a few speed difficulty options would have made it more accessible for first impressions. Nice work!

Let me start this by stating that I cannot belive how this does not have more ratings. For a jam game this is a complete package. There are coherent graphics, a soundtrack that nicely accompanies frustration, encourages it a little bit but does not get repetetive and the gameplay loop (as far as I could reach) feels complete. Of course, you also have the crushing difficulty often present in jam games. Playtesting would me main point to improve (I assume you missed the difficulty curve a little bit as the game is crushingly hard).
Love it.

Some of the levels were kinda tricky and hard, but overall I loved the music and graphics! Had fun time playing!
