I never managed to figure out exactly how the rat's pathfinding works. Sometimes it'll go around obstacles and sometimes it won't. I could solve all the levels in the game through a little trial and error, but I could see the unpredictability becoming frustrating if it had continued into more advanced puzzle-y levels. (And I did find myself wishing for more levels. This is a really fun mechanic.)
Would have happily played even more. The difficulty curve probably could use some work - especially for players who are not good or used to puzzle games. But that is easy to work on after the jam!
Cozy vibes, calming sound effects and interesting puzzles :D
My only critique would be that it's so short :(
I must admit that the gameplay itself isn't exactly innovative, but who cares? Not every game has to be, and this one is super fun regardless.
The rat's pathfinding was a bit unpredictable at times, which could be bothersome in potential future puzzles, but it wasn't a huge deal.
I would 100% play a full version.
P.S. Awesome pixel art by the way :]
