Capo Collection (working title) is a management simulator where your goal is to collect as much Money and Respect as possible. If your respect dips too low, you're likely to make some enemies.... See how much money you can make before you get whacked!

You play a mid level Capo in the local Mob, your goal is to manage a team of Workers and assign them to various forms of Income Streams. Your workers need to be assigned to Income Streams or else they'll lose respect for their Capo, additionally Income Streams need to be managed and any issues that come up must be dealt with in order to keep the Money and Respect flowing.

This game is not quite balanced as much as we hoped it would be, but give it a go and if you want to see the special ending just start a new game and keep advancing the weeks until the "Weeks left in round" reaches 0.

I must've been the worst collector because everyone liked me but the bank ran dry and in to the negative very fast. Weird how that doesn't have a fail condition, where is the money coming from. Also the background music doesn't loop, just ends after the first time.

idk why some mafia shot me at the end, some traitor's requiem or whatever. The one thing you could improve is adding a more pixely font, so it matches the art style of the game.

I appreciated all the transitional animations and the core mechanic is very interesting to me, but I never figured out how to play well. The cheapest worker I could get was $11/week, and the only offers I get earn $10/week (+$10 at the end). How can I ever go positive? I lasted 42 weeks with lots of respect, but money was negative all the way through.

I like the art style and the 'working hands' ui reminds me a lot of my part time job duration.lol, but its a lil bit hard for me to understand the game mechanic,or i can say i dont know how to play it?but all in all you did the great job and The game is very well made.

Sadly could never go positive given the jobs and the workers provided. Seems like a good base for future features though. Having more variety in jobs and worker specialties etc could be cool. Well done

Doesn't seem like there is any way to make money in the game. The "Last Week's Report" was only ever the sum of expenses for the workers. None of the income streams ever provided any income. I ended up with 4 $10/w workers and was still at -$40 every week.

I was a little confused, but I liked it.

I really like the idea. But I have to say the UI design of the book and the document could be better. You can see the letter on the book squeezing and the hole on the document paper block the first letter of the sentence.

Yeah this was our first attempt making a game so UI heavy and it was a big learning curve for us. Learned a lot in the process though

I lasted for quite a while I think, but also went deep red and eventually got assassinated. :D

Loved the aesthetics, both the art and animations. Ending cutscene is super stylish.

The money animation is great. It was fun to playthrough, however it felt odd that going into negatives seemingly had no consequence. I also felt navigating menus was a bit more tedious than I'd like, which harmed the experience since navigating the menus is the gameplay

I did not understant, I died by the end of first month but I had enough money and (I thought ?) enough respect. Moreover, all the jobs are kind of the same ? I suppose they have to be completed to give me money. Plus the animations are a bit slow. Else I like the idea i'd like to play it more, once issues are solved

It's a shame that the game doesn't actually work. I see where you were going with it, and I hope you learned a lot along the way!
