and then to close the dialogue box you have to press again "space" or "J".
then use WASD to move and R to reload the level if you are stuck.
i hope that will help :)

I updated it and now you should be able to move on to the next level with your. (and if someone else finds another solution they shouldn't be stuck either).
if you have time to tell me (or record) your path it will be super nice. i tried to reproduce it and didn't manage to do.
I'm just too stupid to solve the first level. But I feel like that's on me :D
I tried on the web game and on the downloadable ROM (the patched one), and in both cases I unlocked the victory animation and advanced to the next level (and i also tried to not perfectly centered the small balls in the target and i still unlocked the victory animation)
It's a bug that I can't reproduce, damn :/.....

And the game is on grid. Big balls move on a 16x16 grid. Small balls move on 8x8 grid. but you sometime (like in the level 1 ) have to change ball grid)
I finished level 01 in the same configuration as @orangeoceans, so thanks for updating the victory code. For me, at least, the sequence was:
1. Getting out of the starting area without moving much the ball that was there.
2. Getting both smaller balls into the aligned targets at the bottom.
3. Pushing the big ball that is up into the target on top of one of the smaller balls.
4. Going back into the starting space to push the initial big ball into the remaining target.
Doing this also left me "trapped" in the starting space. Then I was not able to finish level 02 even though I achieved this configuration:

I was also able to create a big ball inside the wall, so maybe that level is a bit buggy (pun intended hihi)

I recommend selecting Game Boy from the Ludum Dare platform dropdown. Your game is not currently tagged as Game Boy game so it cannot be found from LD's platfrom search: https://ldjam.com/tags/platform
I wasn't able to finish the first level after tutorial, but apparently I'm not the only one. I suppose there's some trick and/or hidden logic to it, but I couldn't wrap my head around it.
Either way, I like what you were going for!
1 push UP the rightest little poop.
2 merge the middle poop to left poop by pushing the middle poop from his right.
3 push the little poop to the right of the area and put it on the rightest target.
4 push the big ball next to the small one. be carefull to not push the big ball to the border of the area center.

5 push the small ball to the down.

6 push up the big ball

7 you can nox push the big ball to the target in center and small ball to rightest target :)
