Good job!!
Upgrade UI looked very small in web. I had to zoom in to read. Fun game overall, congrats!
Great work on the animations and graphics! Mood and polish feel very good already. I also had some issues reading some of the UI on web, but just the collection and upgrading game loop was enough to keep me going for quite a while!
Even better it follows up by presenting you a skill tree, a surprise that works for few rounds, then the dog? Cute as f**k.
At this point this is already into the good ones tier, but it does has some flaws, a lack of consistant interets, the game is too good in the beginning, and the idea of digging out the mixed skill tree was good, but there's just not a lot interesting skills.
Still impressive to see and play this jelly cutie thing, likes it a lot
Amazing work all around

really cute little game! I LOVE MR. FUNGY!! :) it was really calming and relaxing. i liked so much about this game: from the cute animations to the music!! great job, i had a blast playing it :D
I would enjoy very much playing this as a minigame in some other more action-like game.
Very good and polished game, no bugs found!
p.s. I picked this because I wanted to see how others do the mushroom theme. We had that too, but little different kind of mushroom collecting :D
1. The see-through-trees circle only works near the base of a tree, so it's a little difficult to see if you are behind the top of a tree
2. This might just be me, but I kept not focusing on my mouse cursor. Having a big in-game cursor where you are aiming would be a small quality of life thing
Overall awesome work. The models, the effects, the sounds, just a great vibe.
At long last--shroomageddon! This was a very relaxing and pretty game; I loved the ambience and the art style.
but yeah, that was mega vibes, very serene. Whenever I play a game like this I always think "why didn't I focus more on the vibe/atmosphere?"
the dog was maybe not as useful as I was hoping. And I thought the tree-transparency window for keeping the player in view was super cool, but it obviously doesn't show the terrain when you're not already on it, and so I found myself frustrated by map RNG that placed the trees in the center because I couldn't plan my route effectively
the pacing felt nicely tuned in. Not too long, not too short. Little surprises in the upgrade tree progression but nothing that made me feel, like, frustrated with finding that I didn't pick a certain path earlier (other than the dog a little bit...idk what I would've done with the dog, that's a toughie. it's cute though, so still +vibes)

Nice touch with the see-through effect and immediately got cute Gooby to help
Really enjoyed the game :)
EDIT - i forgot to mention the mouse controls are REALLY intuitive, very nice choice!
I was so invested while playing. It's such a cute and relaxing game. I love it!
I feel like this has potential for a bigger game! Good job!

Revealing certain mushrooms in hidden portions of the tech tree does limit gameplay strategy a bit, and would have loved some sort of antagonist something to work against. But all things are possible with more time, right? haha
I do audio primarily - generally thought the SFX & music did their job well. Different sounds for different mushrooms could have been fun, also some occasional dog noises for your companion.
Nice game!
This is soooo satisfying to play, with all the right sounds and animations, maybe a little bit more visual fx feedback could have made this even more satisfying, great job!
I somehow didn't like standing to wait to get the mushrooms i would have liked maybe to get the mushroom in the center next to mr fast instead of wiggling. Walking around in the end felt quite gratifying. Thanks for the game!
I wrote this response semi-live as I played through the game, because I thought it might be interesting for you to see the full progression of a random player's first impressions as they played - Hopefully it's useful! :)
I did have one really rough point of friction early on - The structure of the skill tree didn't seem to have a logic that I could follow. Because there was no consistency to what would be upgraded when traversing down a branch, I didn't feel like I was able to make meaningful choices to influence how quickly I could gather mushrooms, and by the time I unlocked Rare mushrooms, it was really unclear what I was supposed to be doing to progress - I had been trying to follow the skill tree to unlock more types of mushrooms, but felt like I kept going blindly down dead ends:

If the other skills felt more impactful (or if I could consistently upgrade certain aspects of Mr. Fungi and come up with a strategy to gather mushrooms more quickly) this might have felt less frustrating, but because most available skills didn't change the feel of the game very much, I felt like I had fallen into a rut where I was just waiting each day out until I could try going down a different path. This was compounded by the fact that the epic mushrooms were hidden behind two speed upgrades, which seemed to be the least important stat to upgrade, as I never felt like my movement speed was holding me back from gathering mushrooms on any given day. I spent about five minutes stuck in this loop of going down the wrong path, and then waiting 2-3 more days to try another path.

Once I had unlocked Shroom Boom, things felt like they really picked up in speed, and the game became a lot more fun again :) I was consistently able to get 1-2 upgrades per day, and I started zipping through the rest of the tree, up until I needed to finish the last objective, at which point I was overloaded with rare and legendary mushrooms, but couldn't find epic mushrooms for the life of me:

This was a problem that I had experienced relatively frequently throughout the upgrade process - For whatever reason, I felt like the balance of mushrooms that I needed always left me with an abundance of certain rarities, and none of a much lower rarity. I suspect this might be because of the "see X more frequently" perks, but I would have expected those perks to be additive, where they just increase the overall pool of available mushrooms, rather than subtracting lower rarity mushrooms from the pool.

It took me three more days of mushroom hunting to finally make it to 100% mushroom, but I got there at the end (with a truly silly number of leftover mushrooms of every other rarity). All in all, it took me about 30 minutes total to beat the game, not including the time I paused to write up my impressions.
Hopefully this was helpful! Also, hopefully this doesn't come across as me disliking the game in any way! :) I wrote all of this up because I realized it was drawing me in quite a bit, was engaged with the game for so long, and wanted to make sure that I could give you as much useful feedback as possible! Overall, it was a really satisfying chill mushroom picking adventure with great vibes and good humor. Well done!

I'll make this my mantra.
Fun, cute and soothing game h♥️
## Wonderful!
The upgrade system is super in depth too
I also noticed that since the trees are always the same and in the same angle couldn't you prerender them to save on performance? Just a tip for the future. ;)
