Controls:
WASD / Arrow Keys - Move
Left Click (Tap) - Pick up item
Left Click (Hold) - Throw held item
Right Click (Tap) - Open container (click slot to stow held item)

You can also scoop up items into a container you're holding with Left Click (as long as there's room)

Our second game jam after submitting "Crabs on the Island" last year for LD56!

Planned Features: - Audio! - Game over menu tallying score
- Dodge roll
- Dungeon traps (to avoid and lure adventurers into)
- More types of loot, including usable equipment
- More monster and adventurer types

Known Issues: - ~~Dungeon generation sometimes ends prematurely, resulting in a very small dungeon~~ FIXED! - Picking up items (especially coins and containers) can be inconsistent - ~~NPCs sometimes form "traffic jams" in doorways~~ FIXED! - Throw force meter sometimes displays even when not carrying an item - ~~Carried torches don't emit light~~ FIXED! - ~~All monsters and adventurers everywhere break out into an all-out war at game start, rather than after being encountered by the player~~ FIXED!
- ~~Game sometimes crashes if a run lasts long enough~~ FIXED!

Changelog:
- v.0.4 - A few more bug fixes - Fixed NPC colliders to prevent traffic jams - Adjusted "tap" vs "hold" time threshold and increased some small items’ collider sizes to make picking them up a little easier - Dungeon generation won't produce broken, tiny dungeons (hopefully) - v.0.3 - fixed a memory leak that was crashing the game if it ran long enough. - v.0.2 - Small bug fixes - Some items were duplicating across containers - Occasional crash caused by wonky physics - v.0.1 - Jam submission

A realy cool idea, liked the game play, very good tutorial, found the items a little hard to click and the storage mechanic was a bit tricky.
sadly, the full game was laggy for me, but overall, good job!

I love the concept! Dodging the guards was pretty fun. The tutorial was very good too. The controls were a bit tricky, I was having a hard time picking up loot and the game froze on me eventually at the end. Overall very fun!

Fun little game! I had a little bit of difficulty picking up coins at times, but I was able to collect everything and throw it down into the pit. The enemy AI was pretty decent for a jam game, they seemed to patrol around and have a decent spot/follow mechanic to them.

Nice work!

Nice game! I agree with other jammers having some trouble picking coins and the lagginess, but I managed to do it. I liked the pixel art!

Honestly quite neat! I agree with the other comments on the lag and coin pickups, but it's pretty fun in spite of that! I didn't play too long -- is there an ending?

This was quite a bit of fun :D I really enjoyed making my way through the caves and having to find my way back to the hole once I collected enough loot. The different sizes of containers also made me feel very excited when I found one that could hold more stuff :O

I thought that it was really cool that there was a whole ecosystem going on in the caves, with the slimes and knights searching and fighting each other even when I did not do anything. It was really neat coming into a room with all these dead knights and knowing that that fight actually happened while I was playing.

If you still would like to improve the game, some small nitpicks from my side are that left clicking to pick up items was a bit janky for me. Sometimes it did not respond and I had to click multiple times, especially when I was holding a container. Also, sometimes the slimes blocked off a hallway and I could not pass them. Perhaps you could disable collision with the slimes?

Anyway, really solid submission for the jam! Well done :D

Lots of fun with a neat concept. I liked how you had to get creative to fight the enemies.

From one goblin designer to another, your pixel goblin is adorable!

Really cute game, at some point I got pushed into a wall by the guard and got stuck lol

It's so simple but so funny! :D I really like how the goblin looks and the main concept of the game is fantastic! I had a lot of fun playing it, thank you!

I loved stealing gold while a slime and adventurer were locked in combat in the next room. I kinda wish I didn't have to click directly on an object to pick it up, I kept stumbling on that.

really fun concept. I think that the game could be built on, the the adventurers were sometimes standing in the doorway of the hole, but overall really well done!

Had a lot of fun hoarding gold, really addictive! An interesting spin on the dungeon crawler genre with the mechanics, had some funny, tense moments getting chased full of loot, trying to find a spot to hide. Wished there was audio, but was still enjoyable, nice work!

Very cool - as a fellow goblin game maker it was fun to see another take

The mechanic is cool - liked having the slimes protect you from the knights roaming the dungeon.

Dunno what godot is like for this kind of movement, but it'd be cool if the walls were a little more forgiving , I died to snagging sadly. With the throwing mechanic, a last ditch thing would be the ability to throw the bucket at the armoured dude, you'd sacrifice your gold for the opportunity to get away ( maybe the bucket + gold only stuns them? )

Bonus points for a huge tutorial, and loved the pixel art / animations!
