Here’s my small entry for the jam—built a single-scene dice table inspired by the KCD2 mini-game. Time was tight, so I focused on the core loop and feel. I’m including the original rules it’s based on.

Dice Poker (KCD2 mini-game) A cozy table, two cups (Player/Bot), and six physical d6 dice. The loop follows a Farkle-style flow from Kingdom Come: Deliverance II: roll → select scoring dice → re-roll the rest → bank. First to 1500 wins.

Rules (from the original) Singles: 1 = 100, 5 = 50

Straights:

1–2–3–4–5 = 500

2–3–4–5–6 = 750

1–2–3–4–5–6 = 1500

Sets (3+ of a kind):

111 = 1000, 222 = 200, 333 = 300, 444 = 400, 555 = 500, 666 = 600

Extras multiply the base set: 4 of a kind ×2, 5 ×4, 6 ×8

Farkle: if a roll has no scoring combo, the turn busts (0 points for the turn)

Turn flow E — Roll (first roll or re-roll remaining dice)

Select scoring combos with the mouse (you can pick multiple valid combos at once)

E — Save & re-roll the rest / Q — Bank (save turn points and pass)

What’s implemented Fully physical dice with robust top-face reading

Greedy AI that collects all available combos, decides to bank/re-roll, and “clicks” picks with a short delay

HUD with Total / This Turn / Selection for both Player and Bot, plus status labels (Player turn/selection, Bot turn/selection) and context hints

Cinemachine cameras (wide + close), timeline-driven cup hits, and impact shake

Win at ≥1500; R — Restart

Didn’t have time for broader content/polish—this is the core gameplay and UI. Next steps would be valid-dice highlighting, richer AI risk logic, special dice variants, and an audio/visual pass.

Thanks for the comment above. I kept feeling this game was familiar while playing but couldn't place it—what a huge help, save my day. All in all, it's a really fun game.:)

Farkle is always good fun, and this works well, although it doesn't present the best, but you seem to already have a good idea of what would make it better. I would also say it would feel more natural if it were playable with only mouse (or only keyboard). nice work!

Pretty nice to see Farkle as I also made a game based on it in this jam! The approach and priorities on what features to implement have been different, and it was nice to check it out. I have noticed that using `save & reroll` with all dice remaining selected causes the game to roll on 0 dice and you instantly lose instead of re-rolling 6 dice. Nice work overall.
