Also, that’s a lot of sprites :astonished:
I had trouble following what I was supposed to do, eventually I think I collected an artifact? I didn't see a way to check my collection.
Overall it played well, though. Nice entry!
Neat little entry. The shooting was addicting. I was hoping to feel much stronger after collecting items but it felt mostly the same at the end.
The haunted house setting, where you have to chase out a ghost with a shotgun is a nice concept. And the Pixel Art Retro style is really fitting^^
Only the Progress and Balancing is a bit lacking.
But for 72h a sick funny game :D
Finished the game! I love the art style so much! The sprites have so much personality and the low pixel count looks great and extremely readable. Gameplay wise, I felt like my shotgun was shooting rubber bullets. Enemies felt way too spongy. Would have felt more fun one-shotting multiple enemies with a shotgun, instead of repeatedly shooting bullet sponges. Seemed like I was collecting power-ups each run, but they didn't feel like they made that drastic of difference.
I really appreciated all the little visual details in the rooms, like the furniture, wall decorations, and rugs! Overall a pretty fun game!
