Some Assembly Required by LudumDareDevil
You are a robot who has lost his limbs. You need to explore your world and collect all your missing parts. But be careful! There are angry bots all over the map who want to stop you. Fortunately these bots can only see you if you're in the beam of light shooting out of their face.
How to Play
Use the MOUSE to look around, the WASD keys to move in that direction, and SPACE to dash. Whenever you collect a limb you get slightly faster. If you find a closed door, then you need to collect a limb to open it. When you've collected all your limbs a door will open up at the top of the map leading to an escape pod.

Great mood and audio.
Friendly Feedback: Please make checkpoints lol I got to the leg and died
I think the dash meter should be on robots back below his health.
I can imagine a "distraction" mechanic might be nice, an ability to throw something to bait/lure enemies away from you - or lure them into traps. Just a thought.
The feeling of helplessness is well conveyed. The presentation does well enough that I can overwrite the game jam pixel art with my imagination and fill it in with high resolution 3d renders.
Great job!
Why did I get all my legs and arms, but keep crawling?
Slow movement kind of adds to it, but also it's just sooo slow in the beginning, especially after you died and you already know what's there and you just have to crawn through the corridor.
Also an enemy pushed me behind the wall once and I was crawling thinking can that be part of the game hahaha (would be fun if it was but I guess it wasn't and I reloaded it)
The atmosphere is transferred very well through the clanging of machines and music.
Personally, I didn't feel enough fear from the enemies. They are more intrusive than scary and dangerous.
But anyway, I like it!!!
I like that when you crawl, the "clank" sounds are tied to the hands grabbing the floor, and when you get your second arm you make another clank noise! That's a really neat touch :)
The explosion sound effect at the end startled me a bit, but I liked the explosion animations!
I had fun playing :)
