tombstone tactics by Mr_Field
A terribly evil tower defence game 👻
You are a travelling priest who has brought his cart of ointments and baubles to an ill land- but beware! The ghoulish goons at the end of the road want to crush your cart and send you packing!
Hire followers and build shrines to defend the roads leading to your cart long enough to outlast the spooky horde!

CONTROLS:
WASD / Arrow Keys: Move
Left Click: Interact
Right Click: Splash holy water
Tips:
- You can hover your cursor over a spawner to see the enemies about to come at you
- You can buy barricades at your cart and place them on any enemy spawner to keep them at bay for 1 wave
- Shrines/Wards make your nearby followers attack faster (this stacks with more shrines!)

I did wonder why followers had to stand still though since they do have legs.
Very cool tower defense game, I enjoyed upgrading my townsfolk to priests and even sharpshooters :) Very satisfying. Not sure if I missed it, but I was hoping that the upgraded shrine would also cover more space for the buff, but that may have been too overpowered :) Art and Sounds where a joy as well and I also liked, that I could take part in shooting mice and zombies :)
Had a lot of fun with this, great entry!
Minor things that bothered me were the fact that hitting escape (I did that in the first 2 runs to exit the menu) resets the game (having a clickable button on the screen would be better for me) and the fact I couldn't play in fullscreen.
But yeah, I loved the gameplay. The difficulty is also well tuned to the Ludum Dare format, had me hooked. Congrats!
I appreciated the little victory music as well! It was satisfying to get to the end. I definitely was expecting a big final wave with all the resources given for setup though lol.
The graphics were nice, the feedback when hitting enemies was satisfying! So many jam games miss that, and you did a great job of it. I also appreciated how I could run around and shoot, so if my setup wasn't perfect, I could still buff the areas that were a bit lacking in the middle of a wave by just running over there and helping out.
Overall very nice entry! I had fun :)
