Thank you so much for checking out my game! I've done some LD jams in the past, but this is my first time making the compo deadline! The game accomplishes what I set out to do, but there's some obvious improvements I wouldn't mind making like different enemies, power ups, maybe adding some tower defense aspects to it, etc. Let me know what you think!

Good idea to make the gold move around since it forces you to try to put it back and really feel for the gold. Good entry!

Playing for Larvitar pokemon was never that fun :D Great entry!

I really enjoyed the game a lot. genuinely fun to play. Only note -- its not very realistic. Dragons dont get burgled... certainly not by anything but a hobbit.

@immortalfox haha, believe it or not Larvitar wasn't a design inspiration for my dragon, but I can see the resemblance! Thanks for playing!

Cute game, I love the drawn dragon! Just a small bug I found in fullscreen mode, it seems the window doesn't fully scale with my monitor, so I can see extra playspace at the bottom, and I can push the yellow circles into it but my dragon can't go in it to collect them back ![image.png](///raw/0c1/16/z/6d334.png)

@camcomduck oh oops! Thanks for letting me know! I waffled on allowing the full screen button or not, so perhaps I should just disable it for now.

This is a cool concept, I like the idea of a wave-based shoot 'em up based around defending an objective rather than yourself. I think this has potential as a roguelike with upgrades to buy/pick between each wave. Reminds me a lot of [my entry from two jams ago](https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/56/the-last-leukocyte), cool to see someone had similar thoughts. Great work!

Fun little game! I really love the sound the golds (?) make when u bump them around lol

Feels really tactile, which is cool given how minimalist it is. That little 'disappointment' sound that plays when a baddie takes a gold away will haunt me for weeks. Honestly I agree with @bad-fetus - I could see this being developed out in a few different directions but yeah, there's even a world where you do a kind of active TD meets Roguelite meets ... keep the baddies away from your mobile hoard. (also I just love the expression on the little baddie's faces)

I love the originality of the enemies going for the gold instead of the player, and also the very striking design of the dragon. I wish there were a bit more of that creativity in the enemies, though. Gameplay-wise, it’s quite functional and fun, with good potential. I think giving more flexibility when moving the gold would enhance the game a lot. Overall, well done!

Dragons are the ultimate collectors, who would’ve thought?

The best part of this game is how the hoard spreads out wave by wave, making it harder and harder to get your stuff back. I wish there was a way to make it easier to try and collect everything back - now it’s a bit of a pain to push the coins back to the center.

But overall, it’s a cute little game!

Cool game! Really gets you into the mindset of a dragon beset by pesky hobbits.

The sound effects were nice and the bouncing physics of the coins made frantically trying to recollect your horde fun. I only got to wave 10 but a sharp shooter could get much further.

Congrats on making the compo deadline! Instantly fun and intuitive. As soon as the first bit of gold gets stolen players will feel that " PUT IT BACK! >:C" energy that gets them hooked. As others have stated, the horde rolling around is a great touch since it leads to desperate attempts at putting things back together. It started to feel like they were my eggs and I needed to put them back in the nest. This is elegant!

Great work on the compo, i love the theming behind the dragon protecting his treasure. Its quiet fun with the way the physics of the balls gets you to have to think about how you're navigating the space. Would be awesome with an upgrade to the fireballs or something similar.
Good stuff!

Wow! That’s a genuinely fresh mechanic! I really liked the idea that you’re not just fending off enemies, but also have to shove the stolen goods back into place. It really adds tension. The game could probably use some progression, like power-ups or upgrades that help you handle later waves more effectively. I think this concept has serious potential to grow into a full-fledged, original game.

Nooo, my gold! I got to wave 11 but at that point I just could not shoot fire fast enough. Fun game! I wish the enemies would run in over time and not all at once so that the player has more of a chance protecting the gold, and so that you have more time to push gold back into the center. The pushing was a very nice touch by the way. Good job :)

Wonderful. Great work on getting it done on time. I liked that I could bring my gold back to the center.

I liked the idea of a physics-defense game - if you develop this further, you could lean harder into the coins being dynamic.

To be honest, when I first launched the game, I didn't expect much from it. But my opinion changed very quickly. Very simple rules eventually lead to real chaos and a serious challenge. Excellent game, keep it up!

Very cool idea and it's surprisingly fun for how simple it is!
I guess with enough time it could become a nice game! You could add upgrades, powers, cooldowns, other enemies...
Congrats on your compo submition!

It's funny!! I like how the games is harder with time. Oh, and sound effects are pretty cool too. Your site has a little error by the way </3 ![Screenshot 2025-10-08 120520.png](///raw/3cf/56/z/6ede3.png)

Very fun to play. I like the way I have a little time between each wave to desperately bring some coins back in the middle!

Fun game! It gets really stressful after a while, but makes properly aiming and accurately hitting the enemies very rewarding!

This is charming and hard! I only made it to wave 12—it got impossible to defend with my steadily shrinking hoard. I found myself wishing I had a better way to gather it back together, but I guess as a dragon I don’t have opposable thumbs. Nice work!

A potentially fun twist on the normal arena shooter style, with maybe trying to move the bits of your hoard around. Fun enough for a little bit, probably could have used some juicing up (all the usual tricks you can easily find videos on e.g. the vlambeer 'art of screenshake' video on youtube if you haven't seen it already) that would help make it feel more fun without really needing to change the gameplay. Maybe some options for upgrades or something between waves would help give the gameplay another dimension it could kind of use. Solid effort for a compo all the same.

I like this take on the theme! I like how it made my health both visible and multi dimensional. It makes me wonder if pushing my hoard together is better than keeping it a bit spread out. Good job!

Fun game! The physics are cool and the stun effect of the fireball adds some strategy. Maybe choosing upgrades every couple of waves would be a cool direction to take this game. Really fun and promising concept!

putting the physics on the coins turned out so great! Both for effects but also returning them. That made it quite fun.
The rythm got kinda stale but it's honest Ludum Dare job, well done

Ahaha! I`m a dragon! Really cool! Firstly I tried clear the path so peoples cant steal from me. But then I found a power in me and launch a fireball!

Oh damn, I’m a very good dragon dad. I didn’t let anyone steal my eggs. Humans, beware!!!

Fun, fast-paced, even a bit reaction-based. Simple, I’d like more gameplay, but I’m giving it a like for the effort!
